I hope she releases a new album by the end of this year, or by early 2025 at the latest... (I know she won't promote it, but at least we'll have new music...)

I don't remember it being so bloated during the Cry Pretty era. She probably had it retouched recently.

 

I hope the American Idol contract will leave her some time to record a new album. It feels like ages since the release of D&R, even with the 6 new tracks that we got later on... 

 

 

I hope she releases a Greatest Hits Decade #2 album + records a couple of singles like she did with the first GH album.

This is still so devastating to me. I grew up in Oklahoma and she was a huge inspiration to me back then. Not was it cool to see a famous person from my state, but I appreciated how she was so supportive of marriage equality.

 

She seems like a completely different person now.

I'm more shocked her team did this. Professionally, this is such a dumb move on her part, especially before she goes on Idol to try and return to the mainstream … the only way this would go well for her is if MAGA rallies behind her like they did with Morgan Wallen. 

 

Personally, I'm not super surprised she's a white racist given her background. I'm letdown as a fan though. I really liked D&R and was hoping she could have some success. (I'll still listen to "Burn")
