With this late album, I realized that Billie Eilish is one of the most unpredictable artists I've ever seen. So you never really know what to expect from her next album. Youre just so excited about it

What?? She's literally doing interviews and teasing the album like crazy. I'm sure she said it was more than halfway done a few months ago, too.

I think late 2026 release might be slated

She already teased the new album 3 times, so I think it must be way more than 50% finished. It could even be almost done. She wouldn't be talking about it if she were still in the early stages or unsure.

Is she scheduled to start filming "The Bell Jar" movie in June?

I think it's 65% complete which could mean majority of the songs are written/conceptualized but not entirely finished. Or it's recorded and they just have to mix/master it. She's for sure doing vinyl pressings which require the album to be completed at least 7-12 weeks before vinyl production so if the album comes out this year it could be a Q4 release. I'd be okay with a Q1 release too.

If that news is real, she'll be filming the movie in Toronto in June. An intense movie like this will probably require at least two months of filming, maybe even more, depending on how complex the screenplay is. Since she'll probably be in about 90% of the scenes, it will likely take a while. After that, she'll go back to writing the album. If it's already in the final stages, she and Finn could finish production over the next few months. I agree we could still get new music in Q4 2026 or at least early 2027.

Like this girl only talks this much about an album when she's really confident is finished (or almost finished) She would never would be openly talking about it if she was unsure about the work already done.

HOLLY **** is actually REAL! we're getting an album sooner than expected!

i will say however i hope she doesn't release it at the end of the year right before or during the Christmas freeze, Q1 or Q2 of next year would be better imo

This is a random af thought but it's insane how she's about to have four studio albums…and five projects all together. 7 years since WWAFA…like it's just tripping me out. The fact that I remember so vividly the debut days to now her being a fully-fledged icon and established A-lister

Idk why I'm fixating on it but to see her reach album #4 just like every other legend before her while watching her career from the beginning is a wild. Wtf is time even

January is always such a long, dull month, it would be great to get new music then and she could promote at award shows too. But I wouldn't mind a September/October release either, even tho the xmas season always affects those albums I'm craving sm new music that I'm ok with it. Also, she has to make a xmas album soon too, it's a must!

I think either September/October or January/February are the best times for the album
