at least there's gonna be a lot of hype once she announces the new album. People are gonna be hungry for new music.

  • Seeing Billie in concert for the first time tonight. I'm so excited

  • I was really not a fan of her performance last night. It felt very similar to her Olympics and SNL performances, which were also underwhelming.   Like I understand that BOAF was the nominee,

Her longest break too. Mess rip

But it does make sense, there really is no need for a droplet. EIW was to extend the WWAFA hype/era, Guitar Songs was tour gift for the fans, and WWIMF was for a huge movie. There's nothing about her career rn that requires a new song at all (sadly)

I feel like working on The Bell Jar could definitely give her extra inspo for writing too. Knowing Billie, she's gonna deep dive into the character especially since she's struggled with similar stuff before. Of course, it might just be a personal project she keeps private, or maybe a late addition to the album (kinda like how Skinny was written at the same timeline as wwimf). Orrr she could do an actual song for the movie! That would be great too, but since the movie isn't out until 2027, we'd still be starving for new music anyway.

The promo/movie effect starting to show. HMHAS back to 8M!

I already have my live album, but I'm praying she puts it on streaming too soon because I need it!

Do you hear this note? Are we kidding?? I need this blessing in my ears daily!jonny5

Wow, has it been 3 years?

Billie is great, hmhas was an amazing album and I feel like she is the last true super star, which defined a generation and made actual impact.

It's been two, but if she doesn't release this year it can likely get close to 3

LUNCH reaching 1B soon. 4/10 1B+ and 2/10 2B+ is so impressive! jonny5

Also Biitersuite almost 300M making all the tracks of the album over that mark.
And it's not even fully out for 2 years yet (but itwill in a week)

No but seriously, do we have any idea how long the movie will be in theaters? I'm only seeing 3 more Brussels dates in the cinema chain I went to last Friday for example (which has 7 locations)

I feel like LUNCH never really got the push it deserved after the album dropped. Her team just moved on rip

Then again the 1-2-3 classic punch of Chihiro, BOAF, Wildflower ate it up rip

I think tour movies are only in theaters selectively and for max a month. I didn't follow how long Eras or Renaissance played for though.

tbh… the movie rollout was honestly so underwhelming. So much last minute promo that just consisted of regular interviews that lowkey did more harm than good (she's being criticized for the vegan comment/etc all over TikTok)

I honestly love that we got a concert film and I'm glad! The tour is great and all but tbh, was it really worth it for a 8 month wait? It was like any of her other arena tours. I think people lost interest (I remember the trailer doing well all over social media ..) because of the long wait. Kind of reminds me of the HTE effect, when they kept releasing singles and the hype died.

I think Billie needs to take a small break away from social media and come back when she's ready to tease the next era. Cause it's been a crazy year already.

It would've been great if they had released it in March as initially planned, but these things take time. Her and Cameron are perfectionists, so it didn't surprise me at all that they delayed it to have more time to work on it. The 3D tech, editing, and post-production probably took months, especially since a lot of it could only really be finished once the tour ended and Billie was back home.

The interviews have been great though. It's kinda crazy how we went months with absolutely nothing, not even a cute Instagram post, and then suddenly got flooded with content all at once. And ofc as usual people ignore the good parts and focus on one or two clips just to drag her.

The meat comment was obviously the "craziest" thing she said, and yeah she could've worded it better, but it's not surprising considering she's been vegan forever and clearly has strong feelings about it. The amount of hate she's gotten these last few weeks is honestly insane. The smear campaign is very real and it honestly feels like 2021 all over again. People really do love to hate her. ATRL and Twitter keep acting like Billie isn't that relevant, but the fact they've been making daily threads about her for weeks says otherwise. If she wasn't important, why would everyone care this much about everything she says?

I also wish her team would step in more sometimes because some accounts genuinely deserve consequences IRL. They could also take a lesson from that other lady's insane PR team, every time something negative starts trending, magically a few articles come out about her donating to sick kids or smt like that and somehow it works every single time too😭

She'll probably disappear for a while now since she's filming the movie over the next few months, and after that she'll likely go straight back to working on the album, so we're probably entering another long drought period again.

I have a lot of thoughts on what's going on right now lmao. First of all whoever told Billie it was okay to post the second story with animal cruelty and cussing out her fans should be fired, she only made the situation 10x worse and spread the "vegan drama" outside of Twitter and onto TikTok where the hypocrite/performative narrative can now grow and fester and reach the GP. I'm seeing multiple videos with 50k-100k+ likes coming at her which is concerning.

I absolutely adore Billie for being so outspoken but she genuinely needs to rethink her strategy when it comes to spreading her messages. It's not going to turn out well for her if she continues to make comments that point fingers at other people, even if she's right. She's at a point now where she is way too big, everything she says and does will be scrutinized, so she should really choose her battles and be sharp with her advocacy.

Overall her PR team needs a shakeup. Her charitable actions should be at the forefront of the narrative, not her Instagram stories or "hot take" interview questions. A little break from the public is needed. The HMHAS movie being so delayed and late and now heavily pushed months later makes her feel overexposed.

I'm ready for us to be in a chill lowkey era with random photo dumps and a festival performance or something nn. Things need to cool down for the rest of 2026.

Also it's not lost on me that Billie switched her management last year, I'm still a little nervous about this biblionny

Yeah she needs to drop this whole animal thing as a topic of discussion, since she's clearly not willing to switch her approach right now. Attacking people's eating habits is one of the most explosive things you can do, because people have a very primal reaction to it. It's not like we're talking about people's hobbies, we're talking about something we all need to do to survive, so when you criticize how others go about it, you can't do it in a confrontational or condescending way. She's basically kicking a hornet's nest.

I'm so happy I don't have Tiktok so the vegan thing is not even a thing in my world (unless I see a video on reels but it's been a mixed reaction on Instagram). I still think the hate she got for her ICE comments were worse. People can drag her now but I do think deep down people appreciate her saying whatever tf she wants.

That being said, actions are louder than words. She does not need to engage in social media bait. Like at all rip It's really beneath her.

I agree. I think when the movie filming starts in June, she'll go quiet again. But truthfully, having this movie delayed for so long and this rollout being so messy was definitely a rollercoaster experience.rip

I just seen a TikTok calling her a hypocrite with almost 1M likes bye it's so over

3 years isn't crazy it's a perfect gap. Do you want her and Finn to burn out?
