My one request for the Act III Tour is that she finally gives Heated the treatment it deserves. The way it was relegated disgusts me. It always deserved a performance as iconic and memorable as Cozy + Alien Superstar, AHAP and Pure/Honey. Bring out the dancers and serve that choreo, light the stage on fire, whatever! CaUWwcrUcAAXuv_.jpg

Heated and Alien Superstar are probably the two main performances that suffered from her injury because they both could've been iconic voguing moments. Like even her being more healed toward the end of RWT during Heated showed how much she could've showed out if her knee wasn't impacted.

another performance i think could have been better is virgo's groove. it was good but she sat in that clam too long.

Yall are crazy.

You're more worried about her chart performance than she is. She could easily push her work but she doesn't, and despite that, her projects are still multi platinum.

Lol. Rennie's running down the runway version was great (pure energy), but that CC tour version...chile. From the barnyard mix to the actual nothingness of the performance. Very annoying.

I hear you, but there are points on each side.

Bey has rightfully transitioned out of being an act most revered for their chart credentials. It's the exact thing that allows her to thrive and be iconic when even the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and Ari etc are doing close to her album debuts. It's also the thing that allows her to still be queen when her single metrics don't compare to the top-tier peers of the time (Adele, TS, etc).

HOWEVER...

I quite fervently push back on the suggestion that she doesn't need to care about that stuff. Because she does. Not too much. But a little.

So long as Bey wants to be an active player in the contemporary music scene and not an outright legacy act, she's tasked with being in the mix of whatever the primary consumption method is for the time.

As of today, that is streaming.

She doesn't need to be a streaming "beast" per se, but she does have to do the "things" to ensure she always performs at least a lil above average and has big upticks when new music drops. And whatever the "things" are to ensure her new music (especially) is always positioned as must-hear by the DSPs.

In stanning many an act in her age bracket, it's become clear how tricky it is to turn the commercial tide if not being acclimated to the streaming era. With many of em, the best they can do is go hard on the physicals and merch (and bundling before that), score decent first week sales, and drop like a rock thereafter. it's aad.

I tend to feel a lot of the non-chart Hive **overly** buy into the smoke of Bey's commercial pull, believing it to be way more automated and evergreen than it actually is. Seeming to think she doesn't have to "do" the things to reign as queen. Or somehow perceive that she will be received by the GP *exactly* the same as she is now if she "does what she wants when she wants". Nope. When/if the time comes and she goes full legacy act and stops trying with things like streaming or whatever is "next", some of those folk will be in for the rudest awakening.

Because she seems savvy and aware, I actually don't think that will happen for a while (if at all). But equally, she needs to play the game a little better to ensure that reality doesn't creep up on her while she's trying to present herself as "nonchalant". The latter being something I've never believed from her anyway (see: the heavy push on variants for the last two album cycles, the excessively long yet streaming-friendly track totals for CC, etc).

I truly think she just does music because she loves it, streams aren't profitable and probably aren't worth the extra effort, but Cecred and touring is. Playlisting and auto play I'm sure cost money, and she probably doesn't care about the facade that creates as she really has nothing to prove. She has been putting out music for nearly 30 years and is still hugely successful.

She'll always be a huge touring act as long as she is a a strong performer.

She can still do the steaming tricks if she wants to, it isn't too late, anyway

The only reason I care about streams is because it defines her success and what she can do in the future. If everyone stops listening to her music—which appears to be happening right now—- then what makes you think we will continue to get stadium tours with limitless budgets? Or movie documentaries? Once she's useless to her label she won't be able to serve to her full potential. Streams matter. And for everyone saying the music is quality, why aren't yall listening to it? Yall haven't streamed Cowboy Carter in full for months! But I have a theory for that and I don't feel like typing it.

i accepted she aint abt that life anymore.

it frustrates me at times, streaming certain tracks off REN & CC and how those could have been hits. plus it would've gave the albums more recognition and longevity. since this suppose to be an iconic trilogy. :deadbanana:

Actually let's wake it up.

Why aren't most of you listening to her albums in full anymore? I'll go first.

Debut-self titled have become a chore to listen to entirely. I love the music, but I've loved the music for DECADES. I'm not going to listen to old **** every week of my life. They don't give me that same dopamine hit they once did.

Lemonade I'm just never in the mood for. Low vibrational ass album.

The Gift is her only album that has actually "aged" to me. Even DIL, despite it being so 2000s R&b coded, still feels relevant. I have zero desire to revisit this album.

Renaissance I was obsessed with until I wasn't. If I do listen to it I'll skip half the songs or play the YouTube live versions from murphegrande or whatever that channel is called.

Cowboy Carter has too many moods. I'm not into slower music lately so I only listen to the last quarter but even then I haven't went out of my way to turn it on in months.

Overall: I think modern Beyonce albums are draining. Soul sucking. When I listen to any album from self-titled to now, I feel drained by the last song. Her songs have no replay value. NONE! So many songs are just too long with too much going on in the background. When was the last time she made a song without all that damn vocal layering? Why does she drag out songs for too long? My House, Virgos, Tyrant felt like career highlights but they're too draining to replay. I'm physically exhausted after one listen. I find myself taking longer and longer breaks from her entire discography now. And don't gaslight me and call me a hater cause YALL will sit in here and go "just listened to CC for the first time in months (insert Mariah Carey meme)." Or say you're getting bored with her career.

So if her biggest fans on atrl are losing interest, what makes you think the geepee cares about her? They don't.

Her budget comes from her pocketbook, she and Jay are multibillionaires, and her tours will always sell out whether she's streamed or not. She is her own financing, and when she doesn't see the value in it, she won't do it.  Her label is her own company, Columbia is only for distribution.

She literally calls her shots, and if she doesn't feel threatened by her royalties, why should we? We don't see her bank statements.

Cuff It literally has almost a billion streams and it had no promotion, no video, no nothing, it didn't even hit #1. Texas is around 750 million. She has more songs doing 150k daily regularly than she ever has.

If that's true, then fine you win! I am a hypocrite because the other day I said daily streams don't matter. They fluctuate all the time for all artists. Total streams reveal overall public interest (although CC looks terrible compared to Renaissance which all have over 100 million streams) but whatever!

Bingo!

While I don't think it's doom

and gloom with her streaming numbers, I totally agree with much of the sentiment here.

A lot of the Hive don't reconcile the fact that everything feeds into…everything.

Her being a huge star attraction in the present starts with her music being popular.

She has to magnetise a certain amount of buzz and attention with her new music (and her music in general) to command those huge Live Nation deals that in turn facilitate those back-to-back stadium tours. She then parlays those into movie/Netflix specials (again, a fee she is only able to command because of the perception of her as a mega-draw in the here and now. Something that, again, starts with her being perceived and received as a "hot, top-tier, current act with music that everyone is listening to."

Sure, her name and brand carry a lot of weight. So, she absolutely could tour and generally coast for longer than the average on her name value alone. But there is definitely an upper limit to that. Y'all shouldn't believe for a single second that those stadiums are filled with all die-hard Hive. It's way more fair-weather GP who, in the case of CC, "like that This Ain't Texas song that's viral on TikTok and #1 on Spotify and Billboard".

Having that kind of musical omnipresence directly informs her ability to tour and pack stadiums at such a scale. There's a direct relationship that I legit feel gets discounted / overlooked in the fandom way too much.

She has been and hopefully continues to play ball and ramps that all up more as it's the one thing that will help future-proof her and keep her in that top spot of "Queen above all" for the foreseeable. Neglecting that would see her accept the eventual fate of many a millennial peer of hers, who now settle for the age-old mantra of "I'm touring smaller venues to be closer to my fans".

I legit feel our girl likes being in the cultural AND commercial conversation and will do the things to ensure she's front and center of both.

i promise you she doesnt gaf and will continue doing as she pleases and go on being beyoncé. it's best that you just enjoy her as a fan and not care about the little stuff. she and her legacy are fine

She does care about chart performance, at least to an extent. She just likes to make it look like she doesn't.

She just had one of the highest streaming debuts outside of TS for any woman ever with CC, and she does have more tracks regularly above 150k daily streams than she has had previously.  Post Rennie she'd have maybe 11-12, and yesterday she had 19, with her daily streams trending more on the lower side comparatively to previous months. Her streams are down in 2025 as compared to 2024, but due to the CC album cycle no doubt, although some overall streams have increased year over year, like IA...SF.  I wish I could find year end 2023 numbers, although she did way more promotion with the Rennie film, too.

CIL did around 340 million in 2024, and will probably do around 320 million in 2025.  Halo did around 220 million in 2024 and will probably do close to 210 in 2025.  Irreplaceable has already oustreamed its 2024 numbers, same with IIWAB, Diva and many others

For instance, IA...SF in 2024 received 583 million total streams in 2024

And in 2025, it has already surpassed that amount in October, and has currently surpassed 600 million, and that was with an album cycle dominating 2024

Irreplaceable had surpassed 100 million streams in 2025 in October, which is the first time it has done that, all with two months left to go

Her recurrent streams aren't on the same level as artists who really peaked during the streaming era, but I'm certain she does not invest anything into playlisting or autoplay, because she doesn't care enough to, she could easily do that, but chooses not to.  We will see what her streams look like in 2026 with another album cycle.  I anticipate that they'll outdo 2024 and 2025.

she could be getting 0 streams daily and (unfortunately) still wouldn't give a **** but i'm pretty sure if nothing else CCT's ticketing mess and the overall negative media attention its ticket sales got will wake something up in her.

either have a better organized and planned tour rollout next time, promote the accompanying album better or make the outrageously priced tickets somewhat more accessible. fact is, she'll have to come up with something quick for act iii tour, we can't have a redo of this mess for what could be her last big tour in a very long time :biblionana:

I have given up all faith in that subject. She's a greedy hoe. I know some of us were low-key praying she'd have an Anti tour moment so she'd WAKE UP and realize how overpriced her shows are. It'll just be the same ol ****. Her team sucks.

I think the reception to the tours is probably one of the things she cares about most because as has been said, it's what brings her in the money along w Cered. The negative press CCT received is brought up with every new story about ticketmaster's failings (see Olivia Dean's tour) and the blame is definitely shifting onto the artists for not preventing at least some of the damage ticketmaster has done to live music and the consumer. I don't see that going away unless she actively tries to address it with preventative measures for Act 3 especially with the numerous pending lawsuits. Renny got lucky it was before a lot of the mess but every upcoming major tour is going to face similar press and audiences are fickle.
