  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

  • Potentially #1 in the US, UK and Canada in the same week

OMG she won it :weeps: And she did it in probably one of the most competitive years for that award in recent times.

It would've been a shame if she never won it at least once in her career. She has been the epitome of an albums artist, especially since BEYONCÉ when she really raised the bar for everyone and herself. And she's continuing to do that with the trilogy.

Just wanted to pop in to say i'm so happy for Bey and her AOTY! Not only the album truly deserves it but seeing her reaching one of her goals was so satisfying :heart2: even though i'm tired of following award shows after sooo many years of stressing over these trivial stuff i owe her music so much and seeing the universe aligning in such a triumph for her it's such a good feeling :clap3:

I imagine it's the same stage but re-worked... we need investigation hive to look at the renaissance movie where she showed other stage concepts to see if it's there

maybe shes just changing the portal for a star :jonny:

All these tiktok conspiracy theories about Bey x Kendrick are getting to me, because I just noticed he was wearing denim on denim on denim last night and now I'm like HMMMM maybe something IS afoot

Im still kinda trying to piece my feelings together about her AOTY win. Hell even her country album win. I like others grew extremely cynical of her ever winning it and I truly was convinced she had no chance.

But the joy that rushed over me as I heard Cowboy Carter being announced as the winner from the firefighter was like a release. I literally yelled and jumped out of my bed y'all. And don't get it twisted mother didn't NEED this AOTY win she was already a legend without. But it's truly poetic in every way that out of the rejection and racism she faced from the CMA's she created this album and it got her the biggest prize in music in probably one of the most competitive years ever. She was seen. :weeps:

There is also the historic significance of this win. The fourth black woman to win AOTY. The only one this century. The country music inroads she made. The glass ceiling she just broke. So much more to list but we all know what this means to the culture. I'm so proud of our girl.

And the anger and seething from some in response to this win is the cherry on top to this. May they forever feel unsettled by this phenomenal artist.

LA is closest to me but my college semester doesn't end until after her last LA show :frown: so I'm debating between DC, Houston, and Atlanta. I think I would have the most fun in Atlanta but I also wouldn't mind going elsewhere.

Also is there a reason why Vegas dates aren't out yet? Unless I missed it.

omg if she plays the sphere I will have a meltdown

btw, seeing her win AOTY was so unexpected and emotional. I had zero expectations after watching her lose so many times..

I had a feeling she would win AOTY this year and she did :clap3:

Spoiler

Jay looked terrible he looks worse as time goes by.

I would strongly consider a trip to Vegas if her show is set to be at the sphere. The pricing would probably be astronomical tho.

no exactly... Ya Ya loss really shook me. congrats to that Khia girlie who swept Americana categories, but boy was I worried.

And I'm supposed to believe that a little promotion, mv, performances, etc wouldn't have helped this album? Ok :rip:
