Nah I don't think that's an excuse, she had a whole year and a half between Renaissance and CC. BMS came out June 2022, Cuff It sent to radio Oct. 2022. If she wanted to she could have given us two more singles up until August 2023 and still have 6 months+ until CC's lead dropped. 
 

Same with CC, she could have dropped Bodyguard & Levii Jeans between Spring and December and she would be far from overexposed. 
 

Taylor dropped 4 re-recordings and 4 new albums in the past 4.5 years and has never seen more success

Renaissance was an anomaly, as stated here: She didnt intend to do more with it than CC, however Cuff It happened and she capitalized on it. If it was to Bey, she wouldve launched Renaissance with Break My Soul and called it a day.

 

She knows it important to have breatjers in between eras, so in her mind she was releasing an album each year with a lead single and release the visuals after 3 years. That way, shed have 2 months presence each year, would keep a low profile the rest of the year, and then eventually reap the benefits of it. 

 

You have to think from her perspective and not from a fan perspective

It feels like such a hopeless year. The idea of 3 acts was so much better than the actuality. Especially now that we're just about 2/3rds through.

This just doesn't make any sense. Taylor had cruel summer smashing while a new album is out. It only helps an artist not hurt to have your music doing well. And singles lead people listen to your albums which is the ultimate goal. Her strategy is the worst.

I made my peace with her shenanigans for quite some time now. The music is just too good, the tour too spectacular and the overall message of this trilogy too daring and well thought-out. Is there a middle ground between not caring at all about commercial potential and chart obsession? Yes, obviously, but at the same time it would be 100% worse if she'd try her utmost to ensure a certain commercial success just to fall flat on the face.

I always keep my eye on new Beyoncé writers to see if they flip flop after realizing they're only making 2 cents off streams since she sabotages. I'm patiently waiting for Ryan Beatty to delete his Cowboy Carter post. It'll probably be after the Grammys when none of his songs win an award.

It's pretty identical, otherwise. 

 

"I need a surgery for my soul" sounds so so off. Good for B for changing that part, and her contribution to the bridge indeed. It makes the song much richer. Otherwise, pretty much everything else was already there. Beyoncé was the perfect pick for that track.

Im with you in that music consumption is much more fun when it feels like the World is joining in the euphoric feeling, but factually, we've never gotten so much music from Bey in such a short span. So its a give and take I believe.

After the Beyonce Bowl, I realized how bad Jolene actually is in the sense that its a tired song + her arrangement almost feels uninspired. I go as far as saying its the worst track on CC.

Levi on the other hand has won me over BIG time. I'd love for it to pull some nice streams now

The end of Jolene is stunning though. Frankly, chief kiss, that's what needs to be performed. 

 

However I hope we get no covers for act III, I know Dolly persisted and insisted but still.

We all know the music can do so much better from a chart perspective if she did something, but let's forget the negativity and get excited for whatever it is to come (at least we know it's something music-related and not another shampoo).

Something like the Revel Live in Atlantic City would be ideal. If there's no tour plan and no visual release date yet, having a 2-5 date string of shows would be massive. Bill it as the must see live event of the year and license it to Netflix.

idk, if you look up gothic fonts they look much more siilar to the 1.14 font

 

 

and if you look up western fonts they look like the bey bowl font

 

 

they are different fonts
