I actually think they memorized their speeches, which is why they came out with the mics.  Once the mics didn't work, you see Kelly look to Bey for guidance and Bey walks to the podium.  They weren't studying the teleprompter.

I don't think act iii is coming that soon tho. She debuted the platinum blonde hair in late November and we still didn't get Cowboy Carter until the end of March. So… Maybe we're getting it in February this time. 

 

EDIT: I know it's not happening, but releasing the lead single in January and performing it at the Grammys would be perfect.

Honestly, **** timelines. Its not like she's gonna do anything anyways. If she has a great song good to go, unleash it and give us sth to bop and gag over. No need to fear overexposure with Bey anymore, such thing doesnt exist anymore
