Right. Doing stadiums gives her Tina and Madonna esque cred  in Europe. She doesn't even need hit songs . She even got Jay Z viable in stadiums there: no shade . I enjoy seeing her fill up the Stade de France and perform there and in London as well as Germany . There's something majestic about watching a R&B girl perform in places they say R&B can't sell.

I feel like Europeans appreciate her more than white America does tbh so they deserve shows.

Gaga was able to fit in a short stadium tour between residency legs, so idk I don't see this as some sort of total isolation in Vegas. Tbh someone already brought up the family angle with Adele, but I think the Telephone collaborator also shows how having a Vegas core and a shorter time out on the road is also good for chronic health issues

 

Bey's knee might be better for the time being, but this is a great way to balance her love of money performing with not overdoing things and potentially re-injuring herself.

it's maybe not ideal for us as fans (especially those of yall who've been ignored for 10+ years ), but like… I get why she'd gravitate to this as an option

Getting paid $100m+, not constantly travelling, people coming to HER to see her perform and she will be just a short flight away from home. That does sound like something she would want now judging by her decisions and her career trajectory lately. So I am not really surprised by the rumours that there are various negotiations going on right now. That would also explain the radio silence. But I agree that once she commits to Vegas it's a wrap.

Stadium shows SUCK. intimacy is where it's at with bey and Vegas can provide that. If it's over 4 years, all you out of towners have plenty of time to save up if you want to go.

its not the exterior going dark, its the actual location shutting down for 2 weeks.

 

when theyre not having shows they have a custom movie that screens on the giant screens that ppl can buy tix for. they refused to close for 2 weeks because they thought they'd lose revenue from that.

That's the most believable thing about that story. Beyonce does seem like she would ask for complete secrecy. I can only imagine the amount of NDA paperwork during the Self Titled era . She demands  complete secrecy for her work process and I can't say I blame her

She's obviously not doing another huge world tour anytime soon . Cowboy Carter came out recently so act 3 is not in sight for this year. She's obviously not doing anything for it since she hasn't moved one finger in months and the vinyl situation and photoshoot showed this project was rush-released and half-assed. And the Renaissance visual has 99,9% been PIIALS'd.
