The former went viral thanks to Wednesday, the latter because of the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom. Not saying this had no repercussion with the GP, at the end of the day a domino effect has occurred, BUT that doesn't change that BTW's resurgence is mostly caused by Gen Z's streams.

atrl lives in a bubble, and most of the people here have such a low IQ which makes it impossible for them to grasp that a gazillion of streams don't automatically mean that album X is timeless just because. Otherwise albums by Shakira, Taylor, and Rihanna would be considered so when actually they were considered trendy even at the time of their release.

 

Love On Top would still sound fresh even in 50 years, although I can't say the same for songs by certain ones mentioned beforehand.
