I don't see her dropping at midnight when she releases regardless. I think she'll do a Friday night or Saturday afternoon drop when she does.

Unless she’s releasing another capsule collection, I don’t see another Ivy Park collection coming until August based on previous timetables. But, I rebuke another Ivy Park drop before new music.

Many artists released last friday and some this Tuesday. Industry watchers are speculating they're avoiding someone.

 

Top brass at labels share info with other labels so they can avoid their biggest names releasing on the same night. Its why you almost never see huge pop stars or rappers release on the same night as someone else of their caliber

You could also make the argument no one is releasing this weekend because of Coachella and it sucking up all the music attention

This could also be the reason. I don't even know who's headlining this year but maybe people are focusing on Coachella this weekend.

 

No signs point to a valid reason to thinking she will release tn so I am going to fully assume that’s not happening. If it does I’ll be shocked.

I agree that if she doesnt release this weekend, the window with Taylor and Harry releasing in May would shrink and summer usually has the worst sales, so itll be over 1 year since this puta did her Harper's Bazaar Interview. The only thing giving me mild anxiety about the wait is that Bey's eras are actually pretty easy to map out because her end goal is always touring. Specifically stadium touring.

 

Such tours have a very limited window (Spring/Summer) because of the weather, meaning the music essentially has to be out imminently in order for her to make a summer tour feasible. Even if there's no music and she wanted to Mrs Carter it, an announcement + on-sale date would need to be imminent for a summer tour to be possible in any way shape or form. 

 

Should this month come and go with nothing, then the only other logical frame for B7 is end of the year with a Spring 2023 tour...which would be painful but understandable. 

 

That said...

 

Because our girl is unpredictable, I would love and live for something totally left-field like her own festival (kind of what Taylor was trying to pull off with Loverfest East Coast and West Coast before Covid forced her to cancel). Essentially giant park shows (4-6) that sees everyone come to her. Only drawback is that the $$$ is unlikely to be tour-sized. But it's one way she could pull off a slightly later drop for the music and still launch a live "something" towards end of summer. 

I think our thirst would be quenched if she just threw a little crumb of info/sound at us.. but knowing her, we wont get anything...

I don’t even know why we’ve been expecting her to release anything on a Friday when she hasn’t done a Friday release in years (besides The Gift). Bow Down was even released on a Sunday. Her unpredictability is what drives me insane. 
 

U know the industry is dead when u have to rape the replay Button for Harry styles, Chloe and Ru Paul music

 

For her last two studio albums she announced a tour prior to the albums (surprise) releases. I'm wondering if she would do the same this time. Also the tours were always announced 2-3 months before they kicked off. I mean she's Beyoncé, she could also announce a tour one month prior and people would still go crazy and buy tickets. IF she should announce a tour, then it would mean we'd get an album before the start of it & i don't believe she would just drop it in the middle of a tour (just as she & Jay did with EIL).

 

Another possibility (which i think chances would be low) could be that she releases the album this year and announces a tour next year, isn't this what happened to the 4 album? It didn't have a supporting tour except for those Roseland ballroom shows, to me the Mrs Carter Show always seemed like the supporting tour to 4 because back then she didn't even release new music before the tour. Also Bey became pregnant before the albums launch. Anyways, possibilty #3 could be (also mentioned above) that she'll release something next year and then announce the tour.

Honestly I prefer a daily build up after the lead drops i.e. the Monday after the lead she announce the album or its title, that Tuesday announce the tour, Wed announce the tracklist, etc.

Not getting my hopes up for this Friday tho.

Well a) people seem to avoid releasing an album this friday which usually points to a heavy hitter releasing + b) she released Lemonade around this weekend (at least the trailer) as well as performing at Coachella. So there are some very slim chances

Facts tho. Tbh Kendrick and Bey been the most anticipated for a while now so it has to be one of them or another big name or nobody. 

Nobody is releasing, it's just Coachella weekend. That's getting all music coverage.
