she is dropping things one by one like renaissance but in a shorter time frame  

I'm here for the Bruno collab. I think he's the greatest male performer we have today and they make a great pairing. 

 

this the first album from her im genuinely curious to hear the full project.

 

her past lead singles foreshadows [to me] enough to understand the music, message, or direction shes headed w/ the album. this act shes crossing into a different genre that contrast to what we normally expect. OG Hive knows the country influences been there since DC days. idk i can see this being a country-rock with a lil Tina & Prince attitude. which explains the purpose of her doing a double lead to reflect both sides.

 

i will admit she was SMART for kicking off this country-americana vibe during one of America’s most watched events.

i think that she was slowly working on those projects separately. she said she has always wanted to do an album that she can work out to and, as someone already pointed out, she did thique back in 2014. she also started working on country album some time after LEMONADE. i can see her having all those different ideas and genres, without fully thought out concepts. after all, she did an afrobeats album. all those things were, i believe, just ideas and she did some tracks here and there, and did the whole The Gift when she got the chance. however, during 2020 i think she got the idea to connect the three projects she already had in mind and already had done some tracks for, so the three acts were born. none of that would happen without LEMONADE, because that's when she started exploring country and learned about it's history. then she was determined to continue exploring different genres, and maybe planning albums with different genres, but when she realized how much she's done and that it all connects, she decided to make it into three acts

It’s funny because one part of is frustrated about her non posting on HER account instead of Parkwood and everything but at the same time I feel like this era is already EPIC I cannot explain it ?

i know exactly what you mean...this is more hype and curiosity for this album, not just from the GP but from hive itself. We really don't know how the album will sound. BMS gave a clear indication of what renee will be.

Bruno collab would’ve been cute like ten years ago but his schtick is so threadbare and tired atp I’d rather she didn’t recruit him for this project

According to the bio about the trilogy, she got super creative during quarantine.  A time where a lot of albums/music were either about introspection or joy/freedom. In that case, Renaissance leaned a lot into dance music and wanting to feel joy and happiness but there are a lot of moments that are soft, melodic and introspective. Coming out of the pandemic, it makes sense wanting to kick off a trilogy with something more joyful after Lemonade. If I had to guess, Cowboy Carter will probably lean a lot more into introspection with moments of joy and happiness. 16 Carriages and Texas Hold Em kind of capture that in different ways.

i think his first 2 albums were original then he fully embraced that niche sound bc he knew how to play the game award-wise.

Yep, Kim K thought she was slick the night Bey TEH announced and posted her pic with her Cowgirl hat and I posted it here and people ignored it. Mama Tina knows Kris and she knows Kim, that hint was enough with the GRAMMYs considered and the whole country rumors. 

 

I am betting on this collab, especially since the rumors of Bruno being suddenly in gambling debt go perfectly with this sort of era too.
