This is exactly what happened to that Umbrella girl. A lot of these pop stars, we could tell they were always going to burn out. They come and go while Bey remains and she’s going to be the last one standing 

Those pop stars just don't make good visuals like Beyonce.

I didn't know this group although I feel like I've seen their name somewhere. That's a good song (not for a Bey's remix though), they have potential plus all 3 are good singers. Surprised this song is not big. I will check their discography.

Spot on!!! Anybody else in Beyoncé’s place would have retired ages ago but our girl is still putting out masterpiece after masterpiece. I understand some of the complaints in here but some of y’all got to understand that she doesn’t have to do any of this at this point, she is doing it purely of the love she has for creating art and I’m more than thankful

I’ve had a theory for a while that Beyoncé’s music is too expensive for the general public. Her + Jay reference expensive materials that most would not understand without googling. That’s why if you put a gun to my head and made me sing a full Beyoncé song without messing up a single lyric I’d be gone. #that lady is seen as a lyric genius because it’s for simpletons. In reality Beyoncé has some of the most complex lyrics of all time. You think the words don’t make sense until you do research. But folks are too lazy to do all that.

We’ve had this conversation since lemonade lost. She should have already stopped showing up/submitting. I don’t want another year of “Beyoncé should’ve won!” rhetoric and I’m a hive. I know the geepee is especially tired of hearing it. These award shows are about pleasing the majority, something Beyoncé strives away from. Grammys are just politics and strategy. She stopped playing the game after 2016 so she will never win no matter what. I expect a random nobody winner this time because all the big names will split and everyone is sick of the same people being nominated year after year. 

One of the biggest Mexican tiktok aritsts made a video for Texas last week... I didn't even realize, but it has 8.5 million views so far

 

Interested to see if she pulls the blank profile pic trick to signal the album cover again or if she just posts it!

The discourse will be messier when they announce the nominees because I feel like they will avoid all these big Pop albums coming out. Ari and Tay could be snubbed for AOTY
