I'm posting this here because it gives me hope for the future in regards to Beyoncé as well. Just read the pinned comment on the video; this is basically the live footage of one of Mariah's concerts in Perth that people who worked there at the time still have access to.

How is it possible that an album announced at the SB 3 weeks ago still has no title, no cover and most importantly no pre-orders out?

The album leaked a few days early last time booo ****** hooo that's bad but it's not a reason to completely botch this roll-out.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, another day with no pre-order... so far. 

 

Beyond the wildness of this, she's not even leaving sufficient enough room to play the game of different covers weekly / limited vinyl drops like her peers....if she suddenly wakes up and announces today.

 

I really want to eat humble pie and hope that there is some grand plan that will gag us, but I really....don't know right now.

She’s about to change the game with that digital drop!

She could at least announce the title of the album. I’ve heard radio and TV presenters refer to those album merely as “Act II” so many times at this point.

It’s really shoddy marketing. 

 

Why do a huge Verizon commercial if you’re not going to take advantage of it? Why would you not make the preorder immediately available after the commercial aired? Doesn’t really make any sense to me. A “preorder the album wherever you buy your music from midnight tonight” message at the end of the commercial would have probably done wonders. What a missed opportunity 
 

If she’s doing this because she’s afraid of a leak, it’s very counter-productive.

We will never know peace.  

 

I swore I will never drag her again after she announced Act 2 so I’m sticking to my word. But I just already know nothing will have changed when it’s two weeks before album release.  

Every time she does things like this, I believe this is her "sabotaging" herself just so:

- if she fails being on the top she can act like she did not even try (which is true, given the amount of promo... )

- if she succeeds, the industry (and the basé) would be blown away by her power and the fact that she's changing the game, once again

 

Whether this album ends up being a chart flop or not, she's already coming back with something totally different in 1-2 years, and it's not like she won't be able to fill up stadiums across the globe or The Sphere in the meantime!

Yes it’s annoying that Beyonce and her team doesn’t care about hyping up but it’s been like this for ages now. Get used to it. 

I just want the tour dates. Ma’am those flight tickets to Vegas won’t be cheap if I have to book a month before the show. I hate that she can’t relate.
