i really like the design and aesthetics for cecred

I LOVE the idea of the Sphere! Vegas has the ultimate glitzy "cuntry" vibe (desert, casinos, Elvis, etc) which she already teased in her Valentine's Day post.

 

Even both of her Break My Soul/Texas Billboards have that "Vegas" aesthetic as well.

 

Tickets would have to be expensive but she can match/surpass her city gross from RWT - because people are accustomed to spending more for Vegas residencies (Due to limited seating) - but even this being 16K is still enough! 

 

In addition - the visual experience will be FRESH and a different experience for her fans who are used to seeing her on stadium tours.

Kansas was the flop city but she still grossed $9M

at this point, i think every stadium will sell out regardless of the location. Only a handful of artists can do that

How do you guys feel about 16 Carriages?
 

I love the lyrics and the storytelling aspect of it but I just feel like it goes nowhere. It just goes on and on  the acoustic beginning is my favorite part. Is there a fully acoustic version?

 

also love the outro though.

I truly don't think she's releasing it. It's part of the whole keeping her performances as exclusive events.

She had updates as recent as january 17 about a new sponsor investing the money to seal the deal. I usually dont trust insiders but she's been right every single time an international act announced tour dates here

Considering that Cecred has patent pending ingredients that tells me she's very serious about this. Put aside that she self funded the line.  You don't go that far if your just half assing something. I feel like she is actually using her own stuff. Of course we never really know but at least I think it's apart of her routine.

The melody is addicting and the instrumentation is sublime on top of the storytelling & beyonce's warm tone and tender vocal delivery

 

i feel like i actually want the song to go on & on...i hope there's an acapella moment from her at the end when she does this live where she repeats the chorus & the crowd sings along

 

i'm glad she released it & its shining in its own way for those still not on board with Texas

I wish she snuck it onto all the VOD services just before the Act II announcement. 

 

But I can't see a window now where it would make sense to drop the Rennie doc with Country being the theme atm. 

 

That said, if (as has been rumored), the visual is 2-parts with part 1 being the Rennie and Rodeo film together, I could see a scenario where dropping the doc alongside that on a Netflix (for example) would help the overall feeling of an avalanche of Bey content. All of which will be helpful for whatever live "thing" she's pushing (new tour or Sphere). 

 

I could also see her doing a "Beyonce" and never releasing it lol. 

 

Bey seems to be all about creating a premium around all of her output and somewhat pushing FOMO as a "thing". So it would be totally on-brand for her to not do a VOD release at all to drive home the message to "get it while it's hot...because you may not have another chance to". 

 

Also...in the event the rumored tour is a re-tooled version of the RWT, I can see her not wanting to "give it away" to watch at home when her main money maker is our behinds in those stadiums. 

For those who care about the backend of Bey's business, WWD did an interesting feature on the CEO of Cecred, who has a lot of experience at similar companies.

It feels immediately clear that they are "going for it" and doing so in a long-term, brick-by-brick capacity. 

 

I don't recall ever hearing about CEOs with experience being in position during Ivy Park, Dereon etc. Even when "owned" by Bey, it always kinda still felt like a brand collaboration that relied heavily on being able to leverage her celebrity. 

 

Early days (for sure) and there's a hell of a lot to prove, but this already feels...different. In a good way.
