And I just clocked that there is "40 reviews" on a product when nothing's out yet... I hope it's full of 'Lorem Ipsum' left by the webdevelopers and not just fake reviews.

I can imagine they are taking creative license to maybe use ratings from people who used the products in trialing (which they refer to in some of the text copy e.g. "96% of people who use the product say it gave them visible shine)".

 

Which in a way is smart because otherwise the products would be sitting review-less for days/weeks until the organic reviews start flooding in. 

 

Buyer psychology is to purchase on the back of good reviews, so it's encouraging to see her people get it.

My good friend abroad said she was about to purchase and the shipping added about half the price of the item to the order. 

 

I figured Bey was going direct-to-consumer out of the gate, but I think this points to the need to be in stores soon if she wants this to be more than a US success.  

 

Willing to give her grace as it's definitely going to be a brick-by-brick thing. 

 

But she for sure has to be thinking about how to launch her product in stores like Target and Sephora Stateside and in the likes of Boots and Superdrug etc in the UK. Because beyond the likes of Fenty being there, Tracee Ellis Ross' Pattern Beauty (which I'd say is Bey's biggest competition in her niche) is in most of those spots too. 

 

Moral of the story, make it easy for the people to support lol.

Lord! I put an item or two in my cart and..... absolutely not. I'll save my coins for the vinyl. Hopefully this time it actually arrives and doesn't get lost in the abyss. Still heated about that limited edition vinyl.
