oh yes we had that but they all came at least a month or more after the release. we got all that but the play listing and remixes within like 3/4 days, plus a magazine cover, plus an ad and an announcement/alludement at the Super Bowl, plus a teaser right away and a visualizer within about a day or so... it felt like we were just waiting for something to happen for BMS, whereas now we can clearly seem the wheels have begun to turn for this carriage.

 

we also have her team reaching out to radio stations (remember the whole "PARKWOOD DOES NOTHING!").

After the back-and-forth with the predictors over Hiss’s sales I really have no idea. It seems like everyone is trying to avoid speculating this time.

Who would’ve thought that Beyoncé’s COUNTRY song would firstly go viral and secondly would be the last thing needed to kickstart a substantial growth in streams for her back catalogue? I know Rennie and RWT laid the foundation but it’s still kinda random to think about lol

So this like 30 year old sw*ftie Karen I work with(who, mind you, I have had countless altercations with and do not get along with) comes up to me and goes “ummm did you hear the new Beyonce songs?” And then proceeds to show me that she downloaded on AM, goes on a tangent about how good the “album cover”(she was looking at the THE single cover) and then started talking about how crazy it is she has never won album of the year and said she thinks that will change now.  
 

im sharing bc 1.) act II is already bringing opposing sides together, by way of example of me and this ***** and 2.) that Jay rant definitely educated a lot of the GP on bey’s grammy injustices, which I can’t help but wonder has amplified, at least to a tiny degree, the attention and support she is receiving. Once the album drops I wonder how many think pieces will be published predicting it to be her first aoty win.

They showed their asses again and again (this year again with SZAs snub), so I wouldnt expect anything from fake Hollywood

Honestly, I think it's simple, she's reconnected with some of her fanbase that she hasn't connected with in a long time - which is sad and unfortunate

She should just submit to AOTY. That’s it. One nomination, one win. No song or other album genre categories just AOTY so they don’t have a chance to give her an award elsewhere.

I mean don’t get me wrong, my expectations are to expect another injustice - but the conversation has become the biggest it’s ever been so I’m intrigued if it will be brought back up when act II is released for our consumption and dissection. This era starting off with such a bang only thickens the plot 

The dance has for sure been decided and is taking off.  Crazy.
