I typed this ELEVEN hours ago and then the server shut the **** down.

 

16 Carriages has me shook. Such an amazing track from her. And honestly Texas is cute and has potential but also everything after the last chorus is so interesting…that piano sneaking in and her saying spurs and boots and ****. That’s how you outro.

Texas Hold 'em got me this morning. As usual the second day, Bey music hits me harder.

We are definitely getting one huge film to represent all of the acts. The fact that 16C was recorded five years ago kind of implies that the music was all recorded ahead of being included in the film.

So this era commercially is kinda DOA so all we can hope for is a stellar album which I'm sure she'll deliver.

I think pop and R&B will play 16C for sure. I think it’s melodic enough that those stations can “overlook” the fact that it’s country.

Yeah I’m just guessing but I don’t think this era will be as long as Renaissance because she might not tour. Also the gap between Ren and Act 2 is 1 year 8 months so if it’s similar it should be around Q4 2025. 

If Bey was the type of artist to hit the promo circuit 16 Carriages would have legacy song potential. I'm not even trying to gas it up but it just has a very GP friendly feel to me.

One small note on 16 Carriages though.. I feel like it ends too abruptly. A little vocal run on the last 'away' would've gone a long way

I think this act won’t have transitions considering Texas ends with a 2 seconds silence. 

I was pretty optimistic going into last night that we were starting a new era but I never could've dreamed of this  I thought it would be an announcement about The Sphere residency and then we'd have to wait weeks to see if new music was coming or not

lemme buy my boots and hat now for the residency that better still be happening
