So this era commercially is kinda DOA so all we can hope for is a stellar album which I'm sure she'll deliver.

I kinda get what you’re saying, the era will be an uphill battle but I think she can change minds. BMS was jarring for me at first but then the rest of the album really reeled me and others in, I don’t think this will be much different. Maybe less single success. she’ll at least have adult contemporary on lock 😂

I feel this is her Lord Of The Rings era where the first film/album succeeds, the second one is great but it's just there and then the third one she knocks it out of the park.

Both songs grabbed me immediately. I was GAGGED when I woke up this morning! 

i think she will have something on the album that can work as a single and be sent to pop/urban radio... renaissance was not just 100% house music it had its own fusion of genres, the same will happen here

First of all: Thanks ATRL for crashing for hours every time something exciting happens in pop culture. I really don't understand how it keeps happening, but anyway...

 

Second of all, that Verizon commercial was sooo much fun!! Seeing Beyoncé on Twitch me quiver a bit!! haha

 

Finally, I was prepared for the country sound since she put on that hat at the Grammy's, but both songs are actually quite enjoyable!!

This is faaaar from Daddy's Issues so I have to stan!

 

Texas Hold'em was my first love, but I finally gave a second chance to 16 CARRIAGES and this is so beautiful. Bey did it AGAIN.

The Two Towers is the best movie out of the trilogy...so underrated.

As much as I understand the doom and gloom some may feel as Beyoncé enters the country arena, I think we should be more optimistic or at least take a wait and see approach.

 

Not only was the roll out massive, but the genius of dropping the risky Country single during the most hee-haw watched event in America was bold and shows her commitment for it to land.

 

It could definitely take over POP radio, and might even take off on country.

 

The checks already cleared for the roll-out and playlisting. Let’s see what Columbia has up their sleeve.

 

I also agree there is definitely something on this album that will fit on Urban/Rhythmic formats.
