went to see the movie again today, for what I imagine will be my last time -- lucky # 7.

 

the screening was kinda full, and I went with a thermos full of hot tea on this rainy ass Saturday. had a great time, cried again at multiple points (to my surprise).

 

Diva and AHAP (ending) give me chills.

The movie is still playing here. All month. I’m in California. It’ll come with the VOD release. Probably next month.

I guess it will come when the film is being released on streaming services and home media. As far as I know the film just launched 1 or 2 weeks ago in India, so maybe by the end of this month the theatrical run will have ended.

I really don't see her releasing a live album for this tour. She hasn't released a live concert album for a tour since 2010. No tour film released since 2014 for "On The Run". "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" is her at her prime with her biggest tour at the time and it was shortchanged into a 10 episode concert doc for HBO, while "FORMATION WORLD TOUR" was highly ignored. It was said the final show was going to be the center of its film, but we'll never know. 

 

She released albums for "I Am. . .Yours", probably due to having her biggest album (sales) at the time, and for "HOMECOMING" due to it being billed her 'comeback'. Releasing an album for "HOMECOMING" probably felt more like a duty, where as now, she doesn't seem to think twice about certain things shes billed- an era has to have. 

 

In a perfect world, there would be a live album release lined up for Spring/Summer, accompanied by the live performances of "BREAK MY SOUL" & "CUFF IT" headed towards her YT page, but all seems out of reach. 

I don't care if it came across as a shade or not. That bitter hag'd better stfu and call it a day.

I genuinely believe the three act-project started off as a pure artistic journey  and were meant to be released close to each other to be appreciated as a whole. However, she’s Mattrew’s daughter and Jayz’ wife and she gave into the capitalist in her. Now we have to wait until she figures out the next marketing mimick to release the following acts!

This is actually a good take on the whole Celebrity-expectation thing, although it does seem to skip the fact that Beyonce (and other celebs) getting PAID and working with the very people we should actually take to the guillotine , does help to give them power, popular cover and obsfuscates progressive politics in the first place.
