Well considering she thought the visuals were good enough to try and sell to multiple streaming services is a slap in the face to the indie designers who probably worked tirelessly on pieces last minute (basing this on previous designers saying they only had a few days to make custom pieces for her due to her secretive ways) only for her to deny releasing it because the check wasnt big enough in her eyes. The “probably wont make money off this, oh well” songstress needs to live up to her own lyrics, it couldve been a huge moment for her to say “THIS is what netflix deemed not worthy” and it’s a legendary film
 

Okay, where do I even start

 

1) She looks amazing, I was shocked at first but I love the wig experimenting yes give me more of that. Kim Kardashian can only dream of looking like that, clock that tea

 

2) I am so glad that it is finally revealed that she underwent knee surgery, the speculation was annoying and I’m glad there is finally concrete information that can help explain to me the weirdness of this era (for the most part). While I love the show we got, it was definitely different for me as I was expecting some serious choreo Beychella moment but what we received was even better and more personable.

 

3) Blue is going to be the star of this film, ohhh the legend that she is. She keeps Hagyonce on her toes and I thank her so much for that, she is the future

“Copyright issues” are not a real reason to cut things. She would have to cut Break My Soul, Move, Thique, Love On Top, or every song that uses a sample too. There’s easily like 40 samples on Homecoming too. I’m Goin Down stays.

Whoever edited the photo increased the exposure and highlights to create a more uniform color harmony. You can tell in the shadows under her face - there is less contrast than the photos of the other attendees. I suspect she didn’t love the actual tone of the wig.

Someday we will have to talk about how bothered Black people are about Beyoncé skin being so light but of course it wont be today. It's crazy the woman cant wear light wigs but half the black women in that same industry are always wearing and no problem because they are darker. A lighter skin woman like Beyoncé wear them and it's like she just killed somebody. Some people need to heal from their insecurities first because they project a LOT on Beyoncé.  I think Bey knows it too now, that's why once again she made it clear in this movie that she doesn't care anymore, she is DONE with pleasing the masses. Do we know that she showed streamers a fully realized, 100% complete visual album though? Or perhaps was she was shopping it around while still working on it, and could have made further decisions about it throughout that process? Wouldn't these deals take some time and negotiations that would need to start before it was fully completed, if she had intended for it to come out in a timely way?

 

You're wording this as if the only reason the visuals are not released is because she didn't get an offer she thought she deserved. Since when has Beyoncé allowed the establishment to dictate when/how her work gets released? If that were the case, her entire last decade would look entirely different.

This is my assumption but I think if she really wanted to release them, she could have, she would have, in her own way.

I honestly really don’t see Beyoncé scrapping the visuals. Look at her history: she LIVES for music videos. She was trying to make a visual album since B’Day. She’s surprise dropped an album on iTunes, she’s premiered an album on HBO, and she’s premiered the film for an album one year later, exactly. I truly believe she’s looking to do something different and wait until the very end of the era - she said she wanted us to live with the album and experience and visual the album ourselves, she’s waiting for us to see her vision of RENAISSANCE.

And yet Hive are still here talking about visuals as if her having knee surgery would have absolutely no effect on the project, as if preparing for a world tour that requires actual dates to be honoured is of lesser importance than going back to do the necessary reshoots that we've heard talk of, and as if Beyoncé will just put something out because she once said "coming soon."

CLEARLY things had to change within the era and if it meant not rush releasing an unfinished project, or one that she is not fully satisfied with, I'm on that side. Too many Hive expect not only the most from a lady who has clearly committed to doing the least, but expect to have their hand-held throughout the process and then make up grandiose reasons why everything she is doing is to the extreme detriment to her career, as if she's not a legend, as if she didn't say in the last trailer "I've got nothing to prove."

 

Instead of listening for what she doesn't say, we should take note of what she does say.
