I’m not talking about ignoring the ~movement~ to leave Afghanistan. That movement has been front and center of American politics since Obama ran on ending the occupation in 2008.

 

I’m talking about boycotting the USA. Boycotting Apple. Boycotting US artists/music/movies. Boycotting all US technology. Boycotting US food and manufacturing exports. Boycotting anything that brings money to the US economy and collectively punishes the American people for the US government acting improperly. 
 

Where are THOSE calls? Or did everyone forget we live in the biggest settler-colonial empire in the history of the world? So until people get real about the real problems, they can leave Beyoncé ALONE.

I did not say nor imply that the time between the release, the tour and the film has been action packed and even cited how most of us don't like the wait. I was appreciating how so long after the album is out we still have something to look forward (and potentially more on the way), unlike many eras that are done within a year or well before that.

The west shields and protects Israel and this was a way for them to bring accountability and highlight war crimes. This is the same strategy applied during the South African apartheid and similar to now, many college students and activists from around the world joined in support. Each movement uses different tactics, like " non violent protests", sit ins, boycotts, etc. And people in CONGO and Sudan are calling for similar boycotts of US tech companies for killing millions of children for resources.
