one of my bf’s favorite beyoncé songs is Parition and he barely even noticed she was doing it bc he was still zoned out from her tank sitting session

the way i was borderline bored during the middle of the show and closing the show out with Summer Ren (a song nobody was singing ) is just awkward and anticlimactic… during RDY/POTS/VG you could really feel the audience getting a bit bored lol which is crazy when VG is her best song like ??

 

if the show kept the quality of the ITG/COZY/AS segment it’d easily be her best tour ever !!!

I loved both tours but you are right. I didn’t nearly have as much critique after FWT than I did for RWT. Admittedly most of it is about song choices, but her refusal to move at certain parts is perplexing. 
 

I will say RDY took everyone out of it. I went with a couple of casual fans and they were like

like ofc RWT is miles above anyone else’s tour but for Beyoncé standards it does miss some things… her lack of dancing is one of them BUT you don’t notice it/it doesn’t bother at all during ITG to AS… they could’ve easily tweaked things to keep the whole show at that level 

 

also the lack of hit songs, sure we as hive don’t care and don’t need the Baby Boys and Irreplaceables but the locals do. she could do anything she wants on that stage and it still wouldn’t matter cause locals just don’t care about songs like Thique or Summer Ren…. 

 

even in the Paris crowd you could clearly feel that people were ready to go home during AHAP 

It’s honestly criminal that the choreography for her dance album has been lackluster and I can’t remember most of it except for cozy l. Heated and AHAP deserved something big!

It's still the all time #1 for me. I've never been 100% satisfied with any of my faves' shows anyway so a messy setlist is nothing to me, I'm used to it

I think the AHAP section is camp, and I loved getting to hear DIL and RDY live 

to be fair any drags are relative to beyonce's own impeccable touring standard. regardless of what's said the renny tour still shits all over anything else on the road atm 

 

AHAP and Heated are great live. No complaints here for once. Just glad she listened to the fans and decided to do Heated in Club Renny. Now if only she can listen to us again and release those damn visuals

will forever wonder what FWT Beyoncé would’ve done dance wise for this album instead of mostly standing there and walking around  

 

at least the vocals are top notch and it’s her most vocal heavy tour since TBE/I Am Tour so at least we have that

Move, Energy & Cozy are the 3 best choreographed songs here.

 

I agree. Cuff It has grown on me slightly, but AHAP needed like a Janet-Rhythm Nation vibe with lots of dancers doing in-sync "stiff" choreography, and "Heated" needed to borrow some dark, dancehall vibes from her "You Don't Love Me" Beychella performance.

most of those underwhelming bits didn’t feel like that at all with the US crowd, imo. i’m not crazy about the show she puts on for Cuff It but everyone was eating it up and super hype for it. tank section gets some of the loudest applauses because of Blue. AHAP has a lot going on too that I like. 

 

but I do agree that the encore, pots/virgo, church girl performances throw things off a bit.

hate hate hate hive like this  this man in particular constantly sets her up… she’s not dominating the charts or streams now, what makes them think she would by releasing her back catalogue that people are already not streaming now
