She is not releasing before a Friday. 

Maybe a single announcement will come when the full Vogue article is released. 

Tbf it doesn’t make sense to drop during Juneteenth if this era is a departure from her more overtly political work. It could also be seen as profiting off of the holiday as another poster mentioned. 

Initially I thought a Juneteenth drop would be amazing but based on how planned and calculated this era seems. She’s def dropping on a Friday very soon.

Looks to me like…a proper one? Singles are released on Fridays, are they not? 

The amount of explicit tracks make me a little nervous ngl. Are we getting rapyonce? Or are we getting nasty sexy Partitionyonce? She is about to get into some things

It would be really cool if she reworked some of her early hits like she did with CIL, perhaps some of her unreleased tracks (Control?) as well. The masters thing can definitely be used as an incentive and selling point along with the nostalgia factor.

B'Day is and always has been in desperate need of a remaster - I find Green Light especially muddy no matter how I adjust EQ and her vocals are too high in the mix on Get Me Bodied (just conpare it to how much better that Move Your Body campaign version she did sounds and you'll see). 

her doing a rerecording/remaster of bday would be amazing tbh, its got amazing tracks but it sometimes seems a bit... eh.

 

still love it, the OG release is #3 in her discography for me.

With 16 tracks I hope we get a mixture of everything.

I hope the lead comes before July. If she drops a house track in June - especially in time for the last weekend in June, the big pride weekend - it’ll instantly become a pride classic.

All the four boxes will sell out before the album drops. Heck she can even restock and they will sell out again. Albums are inside the boxes so they will count as a physical cd purchase. Her numbers will be good first week. I hope Billboard dont try anything funny with her.
