actually she’s releasing ACTII tonight it’s true it’s true :dies:

it’s giving that thebeyhivetea page who whined about being called a liar every 2 days when all of his receipts were just random delusions and he deactivated after the album came out because (obviously) none of his "tea" came true :rip:

Edit: actually i think this is them, not another failed rebrand :deadbanana4:

:ahh:

These pages would name some random collab like Adele features, Ariana, Rihanna and Taylor Swift with B.

In the end we got Grace Jones and TEM. Also, they really love everything to be released during her B'day.

Also, why is BeyLegion had became inactive?

Nothing from ST should touch a Superbowl set besides maybe the DIL run. That's the best thing to come from that era in a live performance.

Since we are talking about DIL run again. This is so good

Thank God for Lemonade. She really rebounded with it. All of those songs made for good live performances.

My ideal setlist for Beyoncé's Half-Time Show 3.0 (using only songs out at this moment):

  1. Drunk in Love instrumental, intense build up...her flaming silhouette appears again (because it's iconic and self-referential) but this time it's bigger, more flames, more sparkle, MORE SILLHOUETTES APPEAR.... stages rise with fake Beyoncé's (think IAWT BABY BOY moment) then BAM...lights out.... all silhouettes disappear and the ONE Beyoncé is left in the middle, spotlight on her...
  2. [Acapella] "You won't break my sooooul. You won't break my SOoOooOOOoul. I'm telling everybody... EVERY body. I'm telling everybody... SUPER DOME [bc where else?] ARE YOU READY?"
  3. PARTITION beat starts...the stage suddenly shifts from the 2013 reference it starts at, unfolding and new platforms revealing itself... the old platforms we saw at the start with the fake beyoncé's remain, now with dancers on each one ... in a few seconds it becomes a full CLUB RENAISSANCE
  4. ALIEN SUPERSTAR dance break as a legion of finely dressed queers take the stage, parading around proudly...Beyoncé centre stage on a rising platform singing along when the music cuts and:
  5. CUFF IT instrumental dance, followed by 2 minute performance of the song)
  6. !!! SIRENS !!! ALL THE LIGHTS IN THE HOUSE GO ON, BUT RED... and then three lights cut to white on one of the many platforms: BEYONCÉ, Jay-Z, and Megan...Jay and Megan were there all along, we just didn't notice.
  7. APESHIT / SAVAGE (remix) mashup. The stage is now completely empty but for the three performers. Megan and Bey tag-team the iconic APESHIT rap-bridge, Megan adds some new lines into it... Jay bops around... then him and Megan descend back down in the rising platforms while every other platform now has
  8. Formation instrumental... beep beep, BOOP, beep beep, BOOP... she sings the opening verse and then the production flawlessly cuts into ***FLAWLESS mashed up with the Sorry beat and the queers return, bopping and Beyoncé serving entirely new choreography for the song
  9. The lights cut out...."Uishi kwa muda mrefu mfalme" Gospel choir comes out, holds hands with the queers... SPIRIT is on, huge, grandiose fireworks display in the sky...at the end....BAM
  10. Drunk in Love instrumental and she begins singing the Dubai run, but this time more, longer, crazier vocal acrobatics...the show is about to end and she is gonna end it on a HIGH NOTE... she does..... the lights go low and then back up to all spotlight on Beyoncé...she is glowing, smiling, waving, thanking God...

I say this is "ideal" but literally just typed it out as it came to me I'm sure there are flaws in the plan, yet if anyone criticizes it I will still say there are NO FLAWS IN THIS!!!!!

The effort. :jonny:

She should start with Alien Superstar and the iconic "Unique" being repeated over and over

Alien should definitely be the opening song now.

I love this part.

I got 100 level seats (at the opposite end zone to be fair) for 165/piece. But I wasn't looking to pay much since I'm already doing Club Renaissance in ATL.

I almost feel like I'm spoiling it for myself by experiencing it in Nashville seats before Club Ren, but I really wanted to see her twice.

I stopped reading after Sorry, enough :rip:

Hopefully she won't be performing that shite on tour.

I worried about the same thing but I told myself that I needed to figure out where to stand in Club Rennie :lmao:

I always forget this song exists :rip: Yea please never perform it again

She’s not doing the Super Bowl again unless she’s a guest at someone’s set it would be redundant, she should do the World Cup in 2026 :jonny5:

I think she wants to express how Diana is serving more fragility and softness vs Beyonce being this powerful entity. She just couldnt phrase it well.

Diana was their Beyoncé, like THEE superstar, and it was before hip hop was even a major thing she’s just out of touch. prime diana would have incorporated hip hop into her music if it was major in the 60s/70s, every artist now does. The “hip hop” (new major genre rooted in black culture) of that era was disco and Diana was at the forefront of it

I'm sorry but she sounds dumb... But she prefers Diana big woop.

Diana is the mother of all pop superstars I LOVE HER but Bey may have surpassed her :jonnycat: she’s an even better performer just not as many hit songs technically. Bey is still going though :gayoncecat1:

It’s not about who passed who and who accomplished more, what matters is the impact you leave in pop culture and just art in general. What legacy do you leave behind when you eventually quit making music?

Both Diana and Bey have accomplished so many things in their time and I don’t think it’s wrong for her to prefer Diana over Bey. Nor does it warrant any discourse, Bey has the resume, and nobody is touching her we all should know this by now. No disrespect to the legends that came before her though, they paved the way:keir:

From a European standpoint, Diana has the following hits:

With the Surpremes:
You Can't Hurry Love

Stop (In the name of love)

Baby Love

Where Did Our Love Go

Solo:

Upside Down

Im Coming Out

Ain't No Mountain High Enough

Love Hungover

Beyonce on the other hand has the following hits with DC:
Bills Bills Bills

Say My Name

Independent Woman Pt. 1

Bootylicious

Survivor

Lose My Breath

Solo:

Crazy in Love

(Baby Boy)

Irreplaceable

(Check On It)

Single Ladies

(If I Were A Boy)

Halo

Love On Top

Run The World

(Drunk In Love)

Formation

(Break My Soul)

Cuff It

Where does Diana have more hits than Bey? Even if you exclude the questionable ones for Bey, her catalog still outsells Diana's

I don't know I like the idea of saving it for the midsection where viewers generally want something MORE... let it be the hype moment there that brings you back into it in a whole new way. I put it there to introduce the RENAISSANCE section, whereas Drunk in Love is kind of picking up from where she left off at after her last SB show.

The ALIEN SUPERSTAR beat would make for a great hyped up kind of bass-fanfare though.

then I guess you missed the word "beat" after it... nowhere did it say she'd performed Sorry.

If Grown Woman counts, that is a fun live song.

Though I kind of agree. I recently re-watched the ST Medley at the VMAs and it was... less exciting and slower than I had remembered it being. It felt like it too a long time to kick in. The transitions are still great, but now that you say this it may just be the vibe of the songs themselves. At the time it felt like one of her best performances ever but the Lemonade era (and its associated VMAs medley) came to change all that.

Also, I always felt that all the performances of Haunted were really boring... like, it's a great song, but as a live experience something is missing. She needed to change the instrumentation, give it an orchestra, make it more epic and swooping at the end or something. It's also lyrically not emotionally strong enough to warrant a "just stand there and sing" moment either.

Diana has 20 number ones in the US combined so “stats” wise she beats her with singles. Bey wins every other metric and is way more talented
