True! Renaissance deserves its moment to shine, but I could see Act II in the upcoming months and Act III for the second NA/Europe legs, otherwise it would be weird to release it after the tour finishes. I don't see her doing another tour in 2025/2026 for Act II/III tbh

I hope she still attends. Back in 2016 she was clearly sad even before she performed, like you could feel she was going to lose before it actually happened. Yesterday she was happy and proud to see people that idolize her succeed, like when Lizzo received ROTY. She was at peace even with losing, and she was interacting with people who clearly respect and adore her like Adele, SZA or Taylor. That felt healthy and I’m glad we got to see that.

There’s no way Act II or Act III don’t take home the AOTY. I think if one of the next two albums has less writers and producers the voters will find it more appealing. They’re always pretentious when it comes to deciding what makes an album credible or not. The old idiots that continue to vote don’t understand the art of sampling and interpolating at all clearly.

You need to look at the wider point im making. When I say artistry in relation to genres, I mean the fact that a lot of contemporary rnb/pop is typically sexually explicity, low on real instrumentation, often involving many writers etc. The clue is in the fact that she wins until its general categories. But we can agree to disagree, the other including perception of her are factors, I just don't believe they're the prodominant factors, otherwise they would carry over that thinking to her genre categories and choose celebrate other RnB artist because Beyonce has it all.

my bestie and I only could afford the cheapest nosebleed tickets because of other concerts but I don't even care, I finally get so see THE Beyoncé live for the first time

 

any idea if there is a second show in the cards for Hamburg specifically? I know the leaked list of dates had second Amsterdam, Paris and London dates.

If Act 2 is her folklore then she could get that damn award. 

 

However, this narrative is so dumb. Renaissance is factually AOTY as it has everything: acclaim, success and hits.

If the tour is as amazing as expected, and acts ii and iii get the same acclaim, gp response and commercial success as Renaissance; I can see act iii being her Return of the King moment and actually sweeping the main awards at the Grammys. I wouldn’t be too worried about this year’s results.
