I’m so glad an official statement was put out, obviously nothing she did was wrong in the first place, but the internet is very stupid those men could’ve said their little piece and the losers online would’ve ran with the narrative. I’m quite surprised they actually decided to respond to this though

You can tell that she at least had some respect towards Kelis and even had the courtesy of removing the interpolation even though she called her soulless. Because despite that, Kelis is still a talented black woman who I would argue has never received the proper credit for her musical contributions and her influence on melodic rap and was wronged by the industry. 

 

But Bey will be damned if she would let these racists control the narrative, I’m glad she put them in their place. I think after the Heated and then the Energy song changing, she was finally fed up and decided to respond to something

She could make a remix version to release as a single, without the "I'm too classy..." part. That would be the best way to give the middle finger to them. Make the song even better i.e. Savage Remix and have it be the more popular version, meaning less people stream the original and RSF get less coins.

I actually wish she will remove their credits altogether. The interpolation is basically there. She could just pronounce it differently. 

 

I wonder if she'll still have samples in the next albums.

Cuff If becoming a bigger hit than BMS potentially was not on my bingo card for this era. That s9ng barely made a dent on me while listening to the album. I'm happy for her though (and by her I mean CUFF IT because we all know Mrs. Carter has done nothing for the s9ng except record it).

Cuff It is the most obvious & instant song on the album...i'm surprised that anyone could've felt differently

Really? Surprised you didn’t think that. It is the most obvious single she has done in a long time.
