Monthly listeners are the most IRRELEVANT metric  It's really just a measure of how much payola you have how many playlists you're on. Dua has nearly 10M more listeners than Taylor and yet Taylor outstreams her daily almost x3

 

Bey Spotify is weak though. Her daily streams are bad and Renaissance actually HURT her back catalogue more than help  You can always grow though. As someone above said, more activity, more streams. Taylor didn't become the behemoth she is now until after Evermore (3 albums in the span of a year).

This exactly.

 

Most artists that are highly streamed i.e. Taylor, Ariana, Drake have consistently released projects every year.

Applause....a round of applause (in case they should be right. if not i will still respect and love them, like everyone should). 

And tracking monthly listeners is irrelevant. Outside Rihanna, every artist that takes a few years off will decrease in listeners.

no, iirc FWT was announced after Super Bowl (with a commercial), when Lemonade wasn't even announced or known, really.

I'm not sure, I would assume this week?  It wasn't supposed to be delivered until Friday though, so maybe they'll hold it for then?

Wait I completely forgot I owned the limited edition vinyl dd I haven't thought about it since I got it, I've been so turned off with this non-era it's just been sitting there while I listen to my iTunes copy. Does anyone want it? I'm selling for hm $1K
