If this incident is the one i'm thinking of, then its one of the dumbest ****ups i've seen someone do considering they doxxed a member in the thread that receives the most attention from the mods. They were not thinking about what they were posting at all :rip:

Can a moderator or ATRL Admin answer the following query?:

You have stated that doxxing is a grounds for permanent ban...but you have not stated whether or not the offending user was permanently banned. You owe us that much transparency especially if we feel uncomfortable going on this website in case another insane user decides to expose our lives to the public and fellow rabid stans.

Frankly any member who doxxes another user deserves a permanent ban, in my opinion. There is no justification for it. You can get a warning point for flamebaiting or trolling, or using a nickname for a pop girl, but you shouldn't be offered warning points or even just a two month ban for doxxing someone. Stan wars are never serious enough for you to jeopardize someone's career or livelihood. It should be enumerated in the ZTP. This entire incident just reeks either of privilege or stupidity...

Exactly this :clap3:

I raised my concern about this when people were going through each others twitters and posting "receipts" from places outside of ATRL but since it was convenient at the time no one really paid attention to the potential consequences of encouraging people to do this kind of thing with each other. Hopefully this will set an example in the future that people shouldn't be doxing one another.

A base here - led by a now-banned member - attempted to find my name and report my medical licensure because I referenced the BTW foundation lawsuit. It’s truly scary how far stanning can go sometimes.

They’re still looking on Twitter. :rip:

That's horrible. Sorry this happened.

****ing finally

Some people here are mental and the most ****ed up thing is- europol WONT do **** unless the person threatnes violence upon you or theirself

And lawyers are expensive... And just like minions... You just keep them updated but even they cant do anything until europol starts its part of the job

And seeing ur stuff on pirate sites for free is heartbreaking

Stop doxxing people. Its sick and it ruins lives

One ariana stan did something similar to me too. I immediatelly deleted all my socials and I've given my laptop to the informatics people so I dont get hacked and flooded with ****

And bought a new one. I'm not angry af though. Mostly because I got a propanolol so I dont feel anything

I'll most likely leave this site tho

Imagine being that sick to doxxing another user's private information over a stan war :biblio:

Hope that member get their deserved permaban.

A user's first name was posted. But yeah, the user who said it hid the comment almost right away so they clearly realized their mistake. Last year someone's dupe went as far as posting a photo of me in SYG, thankfully mods dealt with it quickly, I'm glad now we have a loud and clear statement about posting personal information.

:clap3:

Really good to see we have a loud and clear statement about that, especially after some other users supporting that user's behaviour, also posting that doxxed user's name with them and questioning their nationality and even saying that it was "not doxxing" at all. Thinking that they said that even after experiencing similar things made it even worse and tone-deaf actually.

But i am glad ATRL is even more clear about things like that now so we hopefully won't have same problems ever again. Thank u ATRL team. :clap3:

this

also, regarding that member, I really hope she is perma banned and not temporarily banned especially I myself got made fun of by that same user about my mental health and traumatic experiences I had to go through and the disease I have to live with now... I don't feel safe knowing someone is preying out there to find personal intel on anyone here and sharing them without remorse. It is not okay! I hope mods will truly take big actions on that and set an example!

This scares me to keep posting here if she comes back.
