We can confirm the person sending @chosensparkles those nasty messages IS NOT HER. It is someone pretending to be "ariananext" on discord, but the actual Ariananext has her own profile pic (and not Ariana's) and her actual name on Discord. Yes we have proof that it's her and yes we know for sure that it isn't the troll/fake account. Ariananext has been with us on Discord for 8 months now.

 

To make those claims is disgusting. We now think it is a Swiftie cosplaying as Ariananext and making those disgusting comments to get her permabanned, or a troll pretending to be her.

I am very curious about how you can prove account not being her... Who was it then? 

Also you can use different usernames in each GC in Discord. 

 

Admin of that Discord is very close friends of her(also ATRL user here and i am sure highly dislikes swifties as a fandom) and invited her from her social media platforms. 

 

You all could really come with better story than "that Discord's admin acted like he knew Ariananext, invited someone else who cosplayed as Ariananext for more than a month just for a smear campaign against her", really... 

And that user leaving that discord just yesterday... 

 

What part of "posts which shared out of ATRL can't make you banned" is that hard to understand? Why would we claim something can't make her banned from ATRL? like why? for what? You can ask mods and it is clear they have no authority to ban anyone with posts out of ATRL. There is users who used to post racist things out of this site but mods weren't able to ban them because they can't do anything about posts out of ATRL. It is not their business. These platforms should so something about that themselves.

Anyways, thanks for telling us about this. i'd be embarrassed if it happened to me. I think that member got a bit too excited (if thats the word) trying to dupe hunt, but this is a very public forum so we should have personal choice on what to share.

In that server we had someone come in and pose as CakeLikeLG call me out for what I said to chosensparkles all you want, I didn't know about his problems and I later apologized to him in the voice chat, but please stop trying to involve ariananext in this mess because it's starting to sound like a skit and an excuse to place a user you and your friends already disliked and wanted to get rid of to start with under a bad light. I'm now getting DMs from some trying to twist the truth in order to get screenshots, this has become grotesque and it needs to be dealt with outside of ATRL.

 

Let me add that I never interacted with her on Discord and that I'm only now talking to her somewhere else that isn't ATRL.

How am I bullying anyone?  Someone made false claims against someone I know very well and have only defended them. You should be more concerned about who this person on Discord is posing as someone else and actually bullying users (IF this isn’t just a made up account and story in order to get a user you all dislike so much permanently banned. I am using the word IF because mental health issues shouldn’t be taken lightly and this user could be a troll pretending to be someone else too). 

As someone who has had this happen to me (wasn't related to stan wars) it really can be quite scary. Glad you guys have clarified and I'm glad the user in question seems to understand what they did was wrong. Things can get heated but you can really hurt people doing stuff like that.

As someone in that discord, i will be fair and say i dont think it was an impersonation form my POV. But... mods dont care about disputes or things said off the site especially in invite only discords.

 

the issue has been dealt with, the bases should move on and listen to postions/folklore on AM Spatial sound

Did you invite CakeLikeLG personally like Ariananext? No. You personally invited Ariananext.

The ariananext here on ATRL really never was in that server though, like, her Discord account turns out to be something completely different.

I have been talking regularly with ariananext on Discord for a few months now and she has always been pretty chill and hasn't been involved with any kind of big server. Although doxxing sure is a reprehensible matter it does not negate the fact that someone's been impersonating another member and has been building up a history of compromising messages - leading up to the deletion of the account yesterday, how convenient. Also, if anyone had any kind of issue with that member a simple PM on ATRL would have clarified the situation... unless there is a narrative going on
