Yeah, I hope that user is perma’d. It’s scary to know someone among us is THAT committed to “exposing” others

Can a moderator or ATRL Admin answer the following query?: 

 

You have stated that doxxing is a grounds for permanent ban...but you have not stated whether or not the offending user was permanently banned. You owe us that much transparency especially if we feel uncomfortable going on this website in case another insane user decides to expose our lives to the public and fellow rabid stans. 

 

Frankly any member who doxxes another user deserves a permanent ban, in my opinion. There is no justification for it. You can get a warning point for flamebaiting or trolling, or using a nickname for a pop girl, but you shouldn't be offered warning points or even just a two month ban for doxxing someone. Stan wars are never serious enough for you to jeopardize someone's career or livelihood. It should be enumerated in the ZTP. This entire incident just reeks either of privilege or stupidity...

It's really sad how some people will truly feel the need to take stanning seriously and commit a literal crime so they can defend a woman who doesn't know of your existence or knows who you are. That's when it crosses the line and it just like... relax, go outside, touch some grass... do something fun. Sickening.

It's really sad how some people take stanning way too seriously, like it was never that deep. 

I really hope it was a minimal reveal and not something that can damage the user.

A user's first name was posted. But yeah, the user who said it hid the comment almost right away so they clearly realized their mistake. Last year someone's dupe went as far as posting a photo of me in SYG, thankfully mods dealt with it quickly, I'm glad now we have a loud and clear statement about posting personal information.
