When do we get the final HDD numbers? 

People really trying to say 275,000 sales (200k+ PURE sales) and nearly 100 million streams isn't stellar with all that is going on?  

 

The album did GREAT. Doing 275k sales amidst a global pandemic, economic shut down, and mass rioting is pretty much equivalent to selling 400k pre-pandemic.

Drag her as much as you want, but she completely abandoned this era the moment the album came out. We got 0 radio interviews, 0 live TV shows, 0 performances. Hell, we didn’t even get the damn streaming party 

 

Her website store has also been down for a few consecutive days 

 

A large debut, fueled by pre-orders, website and tour bundles will always result in a big drop the following week, no matter the artist. Stop overreacting

 

Albums ain’t selling 100k on a regular week anymore. Those days are long gone and this is just how far streaming can get you. Oh well.

I'm so confused by the people yelling at her for no promo. You are aware there is literally a pandemic going on so thats haulting a lot of promo, and then there's a lot of celebs who don't really want to promote while Black people are fighting for justice. It's just a bad time right now. These numbers are fantastic and once things get slowly back to normal, the album will continue to sell.

Chloe & Halle just dropped a new album.

 

Katy, Megan Thee Stallion performed at the Class of 2020 event, Nicki just dropped a new song with that guy, Alicia Keys & John Legend are about to do a Versuz battle on IG and so many other artists are putting out new music and promoting their stuff while advocating for social reform at the same time.
 

Both can be done and all the artists will have to find that balance because the pandemic isn’t going anywhere for another 2 years, the 2nd wave has already begun. 
 

The protests and unrest is not gonna stop anytime soon, as long as the police keep killing innocent black ppl, the protests are going to continue, as they should. This civil unrest will continue till at least election time this year, if not longer.

 

So just like so many other artists are out there promoting and performing there stuff, Gaga can, too. Idk why she it’s so difficult. Like, I said everyone is just gonna have to find that balance and Gaga needs to do that, as well. The complete radio silence is beyond weird.
