Fail to see mass amounts of "calling folks "disgusting," "pathetic," "revolting", etc and telling them to screw themselves & suffer" in this thread. I do, however, see a ton of people saying Gaga shouldn't be happy.

Stopped at the 5th page. I may have been able to go on. There are a few more with a tone of  'the world doesn't stop because of this', 'what about *insert other terrible happenings in the world that aren't relevant to the current convo*'. In fact, I quite literally saw a post that mentioned the words "so what." Not in an evil way but the tone of a lot of posts in that thread were dismissive and some were downright nasty. So no, no fantasy land here.

Yes as a Madonna fan, I know what music not the bling really means. My fave just dropped a bilingual world music experimental pop album. Truly a visionary. Maybe one day Gaga will be radical like that, we can only hope.

What exactly is the trend? She’s the only female /pop artist in the entire top 15. 

Not the "music not the bling" excuse again when the album features two of the biggest streaming acts and fanabses in the world (who rarely collab with other artists so their collabs generate more hype than random rappers)  And almost every song is less than 3 minutes (a new "standard" in the streaming era)

Yeah because an Ariana feature is risky. Because a disco pop album is risky when Dua and Doja are having disco hits rn is risky.
