Probably it will because ILI as already peaking on Rhythmic and Urban. And pop call out scores are bad, even though it pull through it will peak early due to being a Latin rap infused song on Pop radio.

I Like It's Pop callout scores aren't bad at all, they're pretty average imo, and her heavy burn is still really low too.

how is it possible that a song is getting so little airplay if it isn't sent for adds? how does the machinery actually work, if anyone actually bothers to briefly explain it to me

Because going for adds is basically nudging radios and telling them the label would like them to start playing that song next.

 

If you don't tell radios what you're playing next, then they're not going to be aware to play it.

 

Obviously some situations where a song gets good play before adds:

-- Radio deal. Stations were arranged to play it before the official adds week started. 

-- If a song is already doing great outside radio. Like In My Feelings being #1 on iTunes/Spotify/Apple Music and going viral, many stations hopped on it before being nudged to do so, because they noticed it was obviously the next Drake song to play anyways.
