I still can't believe Hailee Steinfeld's "Let Me Go" only reached #14 on pop radio and #36 on overall radio songs.

The song is so overplayed on my local radio stations (NYC area so like Z100, 103.5, 102.7, etc) that I would've thought the song was at least top 3 on pop radio and maybe even top 5 on overall radio. So strange. They also overplay Demi's "Tell Me You Love Me," too.

Honestly, the situation with the song period is weird.

 

It has 400 million streams on Spotify, but didn't go top 10 in a single country and peaked #40 in US.

 

It was almost going to take off, then never did, but hung around I guess. Like it seemed like was never a hit, but it actually has decent stats.

it was pushed SO hard on spotify, idk its TTH stats but pretty sure it's one of the songs that's been there the longest

It's insane. If you live in New York City 

It feels like Let Me Go is a No1 smash. Z100, Ktu, Fresh 102.7, WPLJ all out it in power rotation for a very long time.

How did we arrive at that conclusion exactly? 

Several of the biggest songs on Radio (outside of "Shape Of You") these past two years failed to cross 200M listener impressions via. Mediabase, let alone Neilsen BDS (Billboard), so it's certainly not a given that this song will given it's large (albeit early) updates.
