Ermmm... Look at her previous lead singles for proof... This isn't even going to sell half of Shake It Off... Maybe not even 1/3? :toofunny2:

"Despacito" still top 10 combined :clap3:

It's not really embarrassing when you look at how her peers performed. "Perfect Illusion" did abysmally, as did "Malibu" and "Chained To The Rhythm." By comparison, "Look" is already a major smash.

Those other three songs were the epitome of embarrassing for lead singles.

SIO went down a 20% en its 3rd week?,WANEGBT did around the same, also WANEGBT have around 50-55% drop second week

Stop embarrasing yourself LWYMMD is probably not going to be as huge as SIO and wont have that longevity but neither did WANEGBT, You are putting her into some standards that not even her fans are doing it just to try to get her dragged

He loves Taylor more than us I see. His dedication :jonny3:

Anyway, any major releases on this upcoming Friday?

20 < 25

50 - 55 < 60

Anyways. I'm just discussing sales and iTunes stats on the iTunes Thread, I don't see anything desperate about that. I do wonder if SOY and Despacito will end up with more 100k+ sales week than Miss Swift.

She wont, SOY and Despacito are WW phenomenoms that we never expected Taylor to do better. Not even you expected that.

But the fact that you are comparing Taylor with the song with the record of more week in the top 10 and the song with more weeks at #1 its too much

And 20/25. Or 55/60 is not a huge difference ib drop as you are pretending it to be.

That one adele stan is so obsessed with taylor lol I saw him in every taylor thread. He is more dedicated the the swifties

thanks for comparing it with SOY and Despacito which both had 12+ weeks at no.1 We all know LWYMMD won't have that kind of longevity and not in the league of those 2 songs. so these kind of backhanded passive aggressive remarks are completely unnecessary. LWYMMD doesn't need to be in the same league as SOY and Despacito to be considered a smash, and if you compare it with other female lead singles recently, this is already massive. Look will end up selling probably 1/3 of SIO ( what a silly way to shoot down LWYMMD anyway) but it will probably outstream SIO by a lot.

Wow, these new releases are holding on pretty well on iTunes. Most of them are still top 15 with positive updates. :clap3:

Sam is doing better than expected :clap3:

I think a top 10 debut is possible now.

Zayn is also doing good. After his last single flopped hard I'm surprised he's still top 10 and with green updates.

GAGGING, SAM DID NOT JUST TAKE NUMBER #1 ONE BACK, :deadbanana2::deadbanana3::deadbanana: WTF IS GOING ON?

Edited by Lil Brush

Mess at Logic and Alessia aiming for that #1 on iTunes. I can't believe it might happen :toofunny3:

Also congrats to Sam in going back to #1.

Him and Alessia light green and both Taylor songs light red

Look What You Make Me Puke can't catch a break :toofunny2: Is Swift coming for a 25% drop on her third week? Embarrassing :rip:

If "Despacito" and "Shape Of You" end up having more 100k+ week sales than Taylor's lead :dies:

Looking at the itunes chart, it's evident that LWYMMD is selling about 5 times more than discounted (original) version of "Despacito", which sold 16k last week. If original "Despacito" sells as much as last week (without decreasing), that means that LWYMMD will sell a bit more than 80k (let's say 85k) which is a 40% drop in sales in week 3.

Look will make a third week decline, but should hang on to #1 for at least a third week. However, Despacito's two versions combined are not that far from 0.500.

Sam Smith will be #1 in sales this week, but LWYMMD could rebound next week for sure.

I was using the original version of "Despacito" for sales projections, since that one won't lose much in sales (if any), while remix lost the discount and will drop significantly.

Actually, the remix has stabilized pretty well in the teens. Yes, it'll decline next week, but it's not plummeting beyond its initial fall either.

I'm still in shock Sam climbed back to #1,

I guess a top 5 is indeed in lock.. :clap3:

It's pretty stable right now, but it seems that it already lost more than 50% in sales week to week when the discount was removed. But overall Despacito is still top 10 in weekly sales chart. :clap3:
