Taylors song is a proven MONSTER smash.  It SMASHED, Spotify, YouTube and vevo records.  So yeah they are comparable and those are wigs that Sam needs to be after. ITunes is not a wig that matters.

True but even then Taylor had the largest sum of the year at 353k .  So her wig is still firmly placed.  I am all for Sam or anyone beating it but to try to act as if one day wipes her achievements away is reaching.  Kane has also snatched her wig.  Congrats to him.  Let's see if they rip it completely off by the end of the tracking week.

If your whole point is about longevity then dont be putting Taylors songs up there with 16 week #1 record holding songs. 2 weeks of rabid fan activity doesnt put it on that level.

Come on Sam has been out less then 24 hours.  It is an insult to anyone to try to claim he's doing great simply because he dethroned Taylor.  Again, I do equate Taylor and the song that has been on the charts for 16 weeks far more comparable (because of their similar achievements) then a song that's been on the chart for a half day.  She's on her third week Sam is on his second half of his first day.  The only way this would be newsworthy if Taylor and he released the same day.  Then yes, slay Sam.  Anyway, done now.  They are all doing well, Kelly included.

This is Kanes 5th top 5 itunes hit in almost 2 years so he's not new to this. He's had peaks at 2,3,4 & 5. His dec 2016 album sold 45k first week (#10) and has sold 180k to date.

 

I only checked this to confirm that he's no threat to Sam.
