Polyamory, Open Relationships and Ethical Non Monogamy
I have mixed feelings. My partner and I have been together about 18 years and have played with some others occasionally in the past, but the idea of a permanent third person in the relationship is not for us. We've been together long enough that we're comfortable and are at an age where interest from others begins to dry up. If we're out somewhere and someone takes interest in us, it's a fun little ego boost for the evening and we'll flirt and have fun and appreciate the attention. Usually it's not more than a little kissing. We haven't invited anyone into the bedroom with us in years but I have had a couple approved sidequests while on solo vacations. If it were a situation where there were serious feelings and emotions, rather than just fun and lust, it would be very different for us and not something we'd anticipate being open to. We don't want too many cooks in the kitchen.

Are there any openly gay male celebrities that the gays actually like?
No. I like Bowen but Matt Rogers is an annoying and unfunny coat tail rider.

Sinners Cast get called "n***er" at BAFTA during presentation
This situation is awful and I feel so bad for MBJ and Lindo. This absolutely could have been handled all around, but learning there was ample time to edit that out of the broadcast is especially a bad look on BBC's part. I had a teacher in high school who had Tourette's. I know it varies for everyone, but she could kinda tell when she was about to have an outburst and would step out in the hallway rather than screaming curse words and slurs directly in front of students. Sometimes she'd sit on a bench in the hallway and let it subside, and come back and move on with class. No need to apologize, since it wasn't her fault, but she also identified it was an issue and took the initiative to avoid offending people when possible. I have to imagine this could have been accommodated for and he could have been seated near an aisle or exit where he could remove himself from the situation when he felt the tic coming on. And in the event he couldn't make it out the door in time, BBC still should have taken the initiative to edit that out of the broadcast. There's no need to air that.

Travis Kelce reveals he and Taylor have never argued in their 2.5 year relationship
I mean, he kinda seems like he'd agree with what anyone says, so he's probably easy to get along with. Any sense of personality has been CTE'd out of him

Do you get asked if you wear makeup?! Im tired of being asked this.
When I was like 19 and working as a cashier at Kroger, I once had a man come up to me while I was helping a customer and accuse me of wearing makeup. Like came up visibly angry and said "are you wearing eyeshadow!? What MAN would be wearing eyeshadow??" I told him I wasn't wearing any makeup but he kept insisting and was raising his voice. Finally the lady I was helping turned to him and said "Why are you looking so closely at a teenage boy?" He got very red in the face and walked away. I think about that lady often lol. I genuinely wasn't wearing makeup though.

Are you willing to take back MAGA friends and family you cut off?
I haven't been fully able to cut them off because they're my parents and I know they didn't reason themselves into becoming Trump supporters. They're products of the American south and the idea that Democrats are demonic communists that want to take your guns and abort all your babies has been drilled into them since they were children. I know they have not actually sat down and reasoned with why they continue to support Republicans, because they can't comprehend they've been lied to their entire lives. People really want to think all MAGA supporters have reflected on things and stood their ground but it's just not the case. For many, their churches told them to vote MAGA so who are they to argue with god? Leaving MAGA, for many, is as big as leaving their religion. I don't fully understand what's going on in their heads, but they continue to support me and my partners as a gay men, regardless of politics, so it's hard for me to just cut them off when there's clearly more to the picture. If you close the door and lock it, there's no chance of them ever walking through to your side.

What's adorable at 25 but stupid at 32 and so on?
My friends and I are mid-30s and they still get blackout drunk every weekend and cancel any plans we've made because they're too hungover to make it. Honestly it wasn't really cute at 25 but it's really not cute now. They've also recently gotten DUIs but managed to get off with light punishments so learned absolutely nothing and are still sipping and swerving. One of our friends called them out on it and they kicked her out of the friend group and started hanging out with younger people who enable them. My partner and I have actually recently started making new friends that aren't so messy because it's getting worse and is embarrassing. We're even talking about moving cities because the only thing keeping us here was our friends but it honestly doesn't feel worth it anymore.
