While Ciara has never been a powerhouse vocalist, her voice doesn't need auto tune. Her ability to emote has always been her biggest strength, but her use of auto tune detracts from her voice, soul, and IDENTITY. Maybe that's what's lacking in her music as of late. Her spirit appears to be there, but her voice is like an over filtered selfie atp.

I'm always excited for new Ciara, even though her last project was lacked luster for me.

I'm a trans girl who deals with so much hyper sexualization and fetishization. Marrried/partnered men start to seem like a norm. It gets to a point where you can't say it's just a poor reflection of the married men to cheat. You start to ask yourself why you mess with married men: are you that unloved, deprived, etc. Is this the only source of romance that I can attain? It just perpetuates a narrative that it's okay for these men to cheat and being with a married man is something to boast about. Idk, but I often dub Doja as the modern-day Britney Spears (peak).
