It started to smash even before the tour started and its clear that the tour isn't really helping it that much. So what went right?

I think this song's biggest crime is that it just leaves very little impression. It's not bad, it's not great, it's just there. Meanwhile, yes, and?'s biggest crime was that it was messy as hell, and I feel like leaving no impression is worse. Also the fact that they made this song not knowing which direction the album was going in indicates there is a good chance that this will stick out like a sore thumb in the album.
