Is it a red flag if the guy you're dating for a month has dating apps on his phone?

have you both communicated exclusivity? if not, itʻs not a problem.

I'd say yes - I might be old style but I think that if you're dating someone you should focus on getting to know only him. Leaving multiple options open will lead you to choosing nothing in the end.

  • yes. the people saying no

Yes but dating for a month doesn't mean anything if you haven't said we are in a relationship

Are you exclusive? If not, no.

A month is not that long especially if you guys have busy lives and only see each other like 1-2 times a week. And if there's no talk about being exclusive then there's no issue having dating apps still. You don't even know if they're being used either. Just have a conversation about it instead of overthinking or coming to your own conclusions.

A month and ur already on his ass rip

ot: depends on what u communicated… maybe he doesn't think its serious (which tbh is understandable if you only talk a month)

I mean, we both said we want longterm monogamous relationship

But I have yet to meet his friends or family so I am not rushing things, once I meet them and he still has such apps, I would definitely be worried. But I also can't call him out since he will simply learn to better hide things from me

Period.

There's a dating app called Surge?

Anyways, unless you've communicated that you are exclusive then I'd also say no.

No. I've had the exclusivity conversation a couple weeks to a couple months into different relationships. And until that conversation happens, I'm usually assuming they're still seeing other people too

Saying you want it ≠ being in it. Like I want that too, but i’m dating a few different people right now.

Don't be vague about things, it'll save you a lot of trouble

Depends on whether or not you've both agreed to be exclusive. A month is just 30 days, 4 weeks. It's not really that long at all. So assuming you've gone on 2 dates a week, you've seen him 8 times. That's nothing. Assuming you've moved in with him after the first date, that's lesbian marriage and he should in no way have dating apps on his phone.
