I guess the music itself is included in songwriting but I like to distinguish the two: lyrics and music writing, and the latter is much more important to me. I like good hooks, interesting melodies, riffs and scales, and am less invested in lyrics which I barely understand anyway because I stan Ariana and English isn't my first language I'd say tho, singing is the most important aspect.
