wtf lol? I'm australian and didn't know anybody was listening to this god awful song

  • My assumption is that they attributed all the sales and streams from the EP to this one song while the EP itself is ineligible to chart, hence its absence from the album chart. The song is technically

  • Choosin' Texas #2? What the **** Aussies know about Texas?

Not the ordinary being #5 rip

What's going on in Australia?

And congrats Katseye. Touch deserved Animals success

surprising since it did not peak high in streaming . must have been some physical copies sold.

The song is technically not the #1 song there but rather represents the whole EP. Australia has some weird charting rules concerning EPs, the same thing happened with Lorde's The Love Club EP which charted at #2 on the singles chart.

They stan Israel lover, P!nk there so...

not surprised at all!

ur correct, per Blackpink wiki:

In Australia, the EP Deadline ranked at number 30 on the singles chart, but the single was not recognised separately.

they really need to fix this. u cant have all those kpop minis becoming top 10 songs instead of albums.

deserved! this song has been stuck in my head for the last two weeks

it has spent 10 weeks at #1 in Australia.

So technically they reached #1 with 5 different songs on the same week? Oh GODSEYE clap3

the only reason why they are #1 is because in Australia EPs count towards the singles chart. so their "Wild" EP got credited as 'Animal' (due to that song being the most popular from the physical EP).

then how come the Blackpink EP posted above debuted at #30 on the singles chart instead of its most popular song being credited instead as well

either way physicals are always used to get new singles peaks so we cheered

no clue. it's rly odd

in theory they should've credited as "Wild". idk why ARIA credited it all to 'Animal'

And thank god it's Animal and not something like Juicy Tutti

Hootie Frutti is far better than Animal.
