Kylie - X Appreciation thread

Featured Replies

Maybe because this was the first Kylie album I ever listened to but this is one of my favorite albums and it's like Blackout's younger sister.

Its better than that toilet water Kiss Me Once

The standout tracks on X are indeed career highlights (In My Arms, Like A Drug, Sensitized, Speakerphone; Cherry Bomb if we count B-sides as well), but the bad songs on the other hand are abysmally bad. This being said, I can definitely appreciate it as one of the more experimental phases of Kylie's career, alongside Impossible Princess and the whole RocNation/Skirt/Kiss Me Once/Kylie+Garibay era.

Stars deserves more love and is one of my favourite Kylie songs

Ive really grown to love this album over time, it still feels slightly under cooked but I really love how versatile it is WOW/In my arms/The one/Sensitised and even 2 hearts are all great songs

I mean if you removed some songs and added some unreleased songs/b-sides of that era then yes, it'd be one of my favourite albums.

One of her best albums. It was my introduction to Kylie and I loved it instantly.

Obviously I had heard CGYOMH and LAFS prior, but this was me living through the whole era and becoming a stan in real time.
