Chappell Roan turned down Biden admin's offer to play at WH, cites Biden's policies
didn't you read? being from or living in a conservative place means you can't ever learn or change your mind about social issues we're both MAGA Trump lovers simply by not living in true blue states - it's just inherent in our DNA

Tinashe - "Nasty"
when you put it like this it really has been such a JOURNEY, and this isn't even everything (Joyride has like 2-3 other "lead" singles missing, RCA not using the All My Friends hype, etc) I know I haven't always been the most active SweeTee here, but I remember fighting for my LIFE defending her on popheads when people were more concerned about calling her a flop than actually listening to her (which is ironic considering that sub was made specifically to defend another queen who had a smash before vanishing off the charts - Carly Rae Jepsen) it's just so satisfying to see Tinashe have a moment again when I've been slowly converting my social circles to love her

Tinashe - "Nasty"
LE SSERAFIM already got a hit in South Korea with a very T-inspired song this year, so I think a remix would be a great idea (but not with them since one of their members is like 17 still) y'all already mentioned Jessi, and I think that would be a smart idea since she sometimes snatches big hits there (plus she has connections to promo spots) it would be so fun to see our girl on a music show or two like when Gaga did M Countdown years ago - the choreo would have to be altered though

seeing them all together is so satisfying I&S is such an elegant look and excellent typography the way the initials combine to make the ampersand Queendom is so chic too that loser just trolls aespa and RV like 80% of the time - not worth arguing with someone who's engaging in bad faith from the start

Slant Mag: Mariah is the quintessential genre crossover artist (& ranks her remixes)

Jack Antonoff is winning and loved by GP despite backlash. Why?
Jack Antonoff is unknown by the GP, please be serious he's overhated by some online listeners, overrated by others, but the average person has NO idea who he is or what he's worked on

Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain appreciation thread
an ethereal masterpiece - such a bold way to make a debut i feel like its influences are very clear, but Alison and Will really went about it in such a way that the result still feels very distinctly its own thing. like the album manages to never feel derivative
