cloudbusting

the fact that there's a good chance for her to hit the top 100 on AM and spotify US by the end of the week

yeah, a tour of the Mediterranean on her yacht

words SM should've heard when they still had the girls

the way we have to rely on designers and her dumbass dad to piece together when the album is coming

2 million is next

AAAAAAH FIRST MILLION DAY LETS GO!!!!!

well, at least not the big categories. we can't pretend she isn't still one of the most decorated artists of all time

and what if you got a job and stopped making goofy threads? let's worry about that instead

I'm so confused because they updated the US-only numbers (and a couple other countries I think)

I'll give Finneas some credit in that he (and Billie) pushes more boundaries, but the final product rarely clicks for me despite the quality objectively being there. imo it's Dan, but not because of his work with Olivia which also does nothing for me. Mostly it helps that he just has a longer career with more material that works for me personally this alone is pop perfection

consecutive days of late updates gonna give me a heart attack

lets get a confirmation on a release date straight from the horse's nose first before we start worrying about any sort of chart event

she's up there, but not the best

this dumbass bait thread from someone who doesnt even hang out in the base (or very rarely if I missed them) the usual suspects running in here to downplay Bey's impact and success when they don't even stan Madonna either

some of yall are so miserable anytime a queer person wants to just be fun and fruity

HAPPY ******* PRIDE!!!!!

this is going to be a fascinating drama when it's all said and done

annoying that today's numbers were so late, but aaaaah

truly putting the L in Lopez, her mind

well at least the CC physical mess isn't the biggest disaster in music this year

not the show by show breakdown

and I think what's extra confusing is that SM specifically have definitely given their groups cohesive projects before - even aespa themselves. for their first full album to feel like "here's a group of good songs picked from a hat" is just a lil baffling lmao

well at least we're only going to go half insane waiting for those announcements

like i kinda get the vision going from the harder hyper/electropop-inspired songs and gradually bringing down the intensity to end on a ballad, but idk it doesn't quite come together as a whole project if that makes sense. i enjoy all the songs individually so i like the album, but at the same time it... doesnt feel like one album? like the parts are better than the whole, but the parts are good enough for me to still think fondly of it im usually an album listener, but these songs would work better in playlists

after sitting with it a few days, I'm still a bit confused by Armageddon as an album the individual songs are good, but it feels like two mini albums put together kinda still one of the strongest kpop releases of the year because the material hits Dall also very good - need to sit with it more to form a more fleshed out opinion but I really enjoyed the first listen
