  1. Why are they (and the police) allowed to feel scared when they are trained, armed and in groups 8:1? So "scared" that they use lethal violence? When every other citizen must remain calm and comply at all times. Why aren't we allowed to be scared too? Why aren't we allowed to shoot them in self-defense when they are armed, in groups and are violent?
  2. I've not made up my mind on surrogacy. Can surrogate mothers have an abortion if they want to?
  3. Seems like a lot of ATRL would have supported the Iraq war because Saddam Hussein was bad
  4. The England flag is like the confederete flag nowadays.
  5. The game itself is amazing, but I don't play. The company who owns it is horrible and it's ridiculously expensive to play. Magic arena is free to play but requires so much grinding.
  6. I don't want to be like 'I'm not like the other gays", but realistically, it's them who are not like the other gays. I feel like these articles get written because it's more interesting to read about botox for prolapses than someones with a more boring, regular life.
  7. I hope all is well with all my fellow AuTRLers I was diagnosed during covid. The signs were obvious from an early age but I think I just slipped through the system as I got good grades and people put it down to me being just 'quiet'. I think I have stereotypical 'boy autism' except with more grace and politeness, but I'm very withdrawn, in-my-head, and struggle a lot with social interactions and communication. This for me is by far the worst thing about it. It impacts making connections at work, with strangers, family, the gay community etc. It hinders a large part of my life to a great degree as making connections is a fundemtnal part of life People would never guess I was austistic just by looking at me (I know you can't look autistic!), but I'm not the best at masking or at communication. It is always so sad to meet new people and watch them slowly realise I'm not who they thought I was or who they want me to be. You can see their face getting slowly disappointed when I slip up or I can't think of anything to say in response. Even though I'm in my 30s, I haven't had a partner yet, mostly because I am still living at home, but I'm in the process of buying a flat, so I'll try and get involved with the community more then. I might try some gay outdoors activity groups. I don't think I can really use apps or connecting online as I come across very different in real life as I have the time to think about what to say in a messaging app. I do a lot of stimming (mainly hopping, clicking and clapping ) but only at home and never outside. It would be interesting to see how a partner reacts to that! I think the best thing one can do is really lean into your special interests and join the community of that interest and try and make friends in those like-minded groups. One of my special interests is roller coasters and this year I have been to some theme park meet ups and, like a number of my special interests, the community has an over-representation of austistic and gay people. Closely related - during a few years in the 2010s I actually posted on a roller coaster forum, but I had already spent a few years on atrl, so I thought it was normal to post like an ATRLer and reply with ATRL-style gifs all the time, so that's what I did. Looking back, it was definitly not that type of place or the right crowd, but I could not read the room. Some people were amused but I think others were irritated.
  8. I am going insane, she is blowing my mind. Best Song of 2023 (multiple contenders) Best Album of 2023 And now 30 seconds into S.M.O it's surely the best song of 2025? She is unstoppable.
  9. The RAF have been performed > 500 reconassiance missions out of Cyprus over Gaza on behalf of Isreal and therefore have directly partipated in the genocide of Palestinians.
  10. Currently participating in it's 7th genocide Rise of the far - right Everything getting worse and not better (trains/NHS etc) Housing crisis TERF Island Rivers full of raw sewage America's lap dog Imperialist Older generations are very spiteful Younger generations are becoming increasingly self-absorbed, so nothing can be done to rally against the above. The feeling that everything can only get worse from here Saying that, It could be worse
