i agree with this, you don't get this kind of top tier song factory type record nearly so much these days and there's an art to making it so good, both for the performers and writer/producers. i can imagine KATSEYE doing something like this but they're inconsistent as it is

sooo many dated yet good songs on that album! the mariah song was tew good

I still regularly spin Sledgehammer, now that's a classic

"Top Down" and "Body Rock" still slap so hard, underrated bangers

I love that album, Going Nowhere being the highlight.

it's dated and a product of its time, sure. But It's banger after banger if you discount TGBL. Its a proper girl group album - fun, sassy and a bit silly and unserious.

Everlasting Love is still easily top 5 in their discography

It was alright. Had a few cute songs that I still use today, most notable being 'We Know'.
