Overexposure, Swifties, and the music.

You should start with yourself first

Personally, I have found her inoffensive for the longest time. In fact, I had her back during her first hate train and even more when she released RePUTA. However, Lover may be the worst album I ever heard, and things changed for me, everything about her ass started to annoy me, and things got much worse this decade, the MIDnights-ToiletPaperDepartment-Scamgirl run is disgusting. Not to mention that the cult that follows her is obnoxious.

I was a casual fan up until midnights? She got cornier after evermore, the swifties got more delusional and aggressive, and the music got worse.

I was a major fan starting with Red and 1989. Supported her in Reputation but she lost me with Lover. That album cover is enough to make anyone with functioning eyes unstan, then the music was terrible too.

I liked MIDnights, it's a fun pop album but didn't really care much for her pseudo-sufjan stevens wannabe folky eras and her last two have just been terrible all around. She also became a product and brand and stopped being an artist after the pandemic anyway and stanning brands doesn't cut it for me

Don't hate her, but after Midnights, and just around the time she started dating Travis, everything about her became insufferable.

10-ish years ago her fan base seemed genuinely the most reasonable and mature everywhere on the internet, compared to all others.

But I guess that's the price of overexposure.

1989 TV onwards. Those vault tracks were 100% Midnights cuts that were repurposed and idk why that rubbed me the wrong way. And then TTPD was pretty bad and I think TLOAS era really solidified my OTH status and I hardly need to explain why.
