just to be clear, the material was not shelved 2013-wise, there was never a fully realized album around the time they were dropping the droplets Jungle/Shook/Weeds, to begin with.

I love the sound of this song and hope they go more into this direction with a full album

they fully had an album prepped at one point according to press and insiders around that time

They definitely did, they even described future singles afai remember.

Sounds like such a One Touch elevation. So them. Cute, garage inspired, vocals are clear as day. Breezy… I like it!

I'm glad we're getting something new soon, Siobhan said last month that they are putting finishing touches on the album and it's finally coming. It sounds great, but all of the singles last year sounded miles better imo

Debuting new song live as a supporting act on a show in Belgium is really a choice

I enjoyed the singles last year. Jungle was fire.

I don't know how I feel about the garage beat.

It seems like Mutya is looking more like her original self.

yup, most likely

Mutya said last year that one or two more single releases were coming before an album during her book tour.

I can imagine as independent artists they want to have full funds before launching a full album. Even if it sometimes leaves gaps on the road to it.

They were my absolute favorite band in my childhood and teenage years and I liked a few songs on The Lost Tapes, but somehow they lost their spark for me. I need them to serve pop bangers like About You Now, Push The Button, etc. again so bad.

This sounds good! Jungle and Shook are BOPs so hopefully a new album is coming out soon
