Beyonce -4 : which version do you use?

Featured Replies

I remember loving 4 and now the tracklist has been butchered imo. The original was perfect. Thought?

1+1 plus the frank ocean tracks were perfection in terms of setting the mood.

I still use the original Deluxe tracklist starting with 1+1 and the bonustracks on disc II

i have a playlist with the original tracklist, the new tracklist is HORRIBLE

The original flows better. There wasn't a need to resequence it; she had been a fan of doing that for some time, up to that point, with B'Day and I Am... Sasha Fierce.

Wow I am Shocked by the replies. I thought most people used the 2012 expanded version. I think it's far better.

The original is too slow in the beginning and takes too long to build up to something.

The reworked version starts with a very upbeat mood that slowly transitions into a more mellow middle part and finally booms again before the encore. I much prefer that.

I preferred the original tracklist but doesn't matter which order you listen to, she still hasn't topped it. It's my favorite of her albums jonny2

I'm glad someone brought this up and even happier that people seem to enjoy the OG tracklist more. I'm in this camp as well. I need the original tracklist starting with 1+1 and deluxe songs on a separate disc!
